posted at tail end of other thread so sorry for repeat. Someone I am close with works in Baltimore at the hospital Freddie was brought to after the police found him unresponsive (UMMS).

She was talking with the team from the ambulance that brought him in and they told her essentially that Freddie Gray was well known not just to police, but also the medics for banging his head against the transport vehicle(s) in order to be taken to the hospital in lieu of the trip to booking.

Again, this was told to her the day of, and roughly within 2 hours of the him being transported to UMMS Hospital and not something that someone ‘remembered’ after the co-prisoner’s report came out.

So, not only is Freddie known to police, but he was known to the local medics for intentionally inflicting injury upon himself while in police custody (“Banging his head on the wall”).

I’ve been away most of the day so sorry if I missed this… The Baltimore Sun “Exclusive” behind the scenes of the Baltimore PD investigation into the Freddie Gray incident revealed that the police HAD NOT even completed their investigation or determined HOW the injury occurred before SA Mosby trotted up to the mic Friday (without telling BPD) and announcing charges, including 2nd Degree Murder … We have a legit scandal on out hands.

The article says the investigative team at police HQ was stunned when Mosby showed up on T.V. announcing charges. This is truly unbelievable. And the fact that it’s not getting more attention is even more disturbing.

I only read Goodson. A lot of the charge seems to be that nobody called for Medical assistance at any time. However Justice_099 seems to have come across a different story than what is being reported.

I purchased a subscription to broadcastify.com in order to listen to the police and EMS radios around the arrest.

I have already stumbled on a juicy tidbit that we haven’t been told.

The police requested an EMS to meet them at the second to last stop (1600 W. North Ave and Pennsylvania Ave.) This is where they supposedly picked up the second passenger as well.

But for some reason, they called the EMS dispatch again and said to meet them at the station instead.

If EMS was summoned as Justice-099 seems to have uncovered, it would seem reasonable that Goodson would have known even if Goodson himself did not place the call for EMS.

The real irony here is that these charging documents charge police officers with serious crimes, up to and including murder, without any probable cause whatsoever of murder – while at the same time, admonishing the officers for arresting Gray without probable cause of any crime being committed.
