With them? Encouraging them to repeat that threat/call this year?

They were calling for a "Day of Action" on April 9th, 2012. They didn't get a lot of response, either from the authorities or those willing to join them.

I saw a list, maybe it was on here, of places and times. A few were set to start at 10 am and some to start at noon. There was a small local one in Sanford already.

Just a reminder:

Legal Insurrection has a live feed of Sharpton's protest and a live twitter feed covering events.

From what I'm seeing around the web, the turnout seems to be very disappointing (for them), especially considering all of the speakers they have lined up.

Since this is the first I've heard about this "emergency rally" I'm betting it was a bust too. Hmm... maybe the tried and true methods are failing now. Maybe these groups who want to effect change are going to have to find better routes. You know, like going to school, getting a degree and then either 1)running for elective office; or 2)getting a job and donating to the groups they support.

What I'm not clear about, JG, is what this has to do with the GZ case? I admit, TLDR. ;)

Sharpton says Trayparents™ have sued GZ. First I've heard of a suit being filed. Anyone else?

Going on and on about GZ getting deposed in that case. :Gslap :lol Deposition and discovery is exactly why many think Trayparents™ are/were? unlikely to actually file a civil suit against GZ.

I haven't heard about any lawsuits. All I have heard is MoM said if anyone sues GZ he will go to court and get immunity which he is sure he will get.

Oh my, this man, Al, is so disgusting... asking for donations of $100... then asking for $50's... then $20's... "Rachel, is that a latte you're drinking?" with the implication she should have saved that money if she didn't have at least a $20 for him. Then finally, 'whatever you got, even a dollah.' I've never seen anything like it...
