I know there are 8 men....I'm a little confused on how it will proceed because I remember reading a post that none of them know who will go into deliberations....gonna read up about that.

5:37 p.m. ET: The court is taking a brief break.

5:35 p.m. ET: Martinez has moved on to an incident in April 2008 where Alexander allegedly choked her until she passed out. He again points out there is no corroborating evidence that this event took place.

5:32 p.m. ET: Arias said Alexander finished banging his head on the door, he looked at her like a "mad man." She ran down the hallway, and he grabbed her by her wrist and hugged her.

5:29 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias about an episode where Alexander allegedly banged his head against his closet door. Arias said Alexander hit his head against the door for about a minute.

5:26 p.m. ET: Arias is back on the stand, and her testimony should begin shortly.

At the rate this is going, this cross examination will probably make it into the record books! Can't imagine how contentious it will get when they finally get to the part of her actions during the actual murder.

Prosecutor playing 48 Hour clip of Jodi digging her own grave on various things. This is about why Jodi smiled and looked cocky in her mug shot. She says she thought, "what would Travis do? he would just flash a grin" and not that he would be in that same situation, but that's when she decided to smile and also, she was innocent."

Prosecutor reminds her she said once before (Inside Edition interview) that she said she was planning on being dead (suicide), also says she was innocent of first degree murder and no jury would convict her.

That one sister of Travis' on the right looks so angry and just wants to strangle the liar.
