I expect NZ to do this "in style" get runs quickly at least until a few wickets fall.

They wont WIN T20 matches usually with a measured run chase.. they need to play as if they were chasing 200+

Guptil out is NOT the end of the world. Sure he will be missed hitting boundaries to give NZ a fast start, but.... others can do that job almost as well and he was out facing just 3 balls.. so not a pile of balls "wasted".

Williamson on the other hand needs a good kicking.. his fault Guptil is out and he himself has a piss-poor SR..6/15 SR 40.0

NOBODY should have SR like that in a T20... it amounts to wasting an over and a half and there are only 20 available.

Thanks for saying whose fault the wicket was, I saw it but couldn't exactly tell.

Yeah, I was going to ask what you thought about Williamson at this stage.

Meanwhile, watching the other match also. :)

Munro doing good... Williamson should give up and get himself out.. let a proper T20 player have a go...

You were so right about Guptill's out not being so bad ... (weird you know this)

NZ really needed that big over, Williamson needs to act like he's been there before ...

Cant really afford to look away from a T20... 20 overs is not many.

I'll get back to the other game later :cool

Williamson is making up for earlier stuff... and he is pretty much NZ's last hope. His SR is 100 now but from here he needs to score big every over.... 4 overs to go 50 runs required.

NZ require 30 runs of last 2 overs... not impossible.... but would be a very long shot :cool

NZ require 20 off last over... longer shot... but I guess anything 36 or less is gettable :cool

Pakistan Win

Pakistan 171/8 (20/20 ov)
New Zealand 155/9 (20/20 ov)

Pakistan deserved to win... actually NZ deserved to lose with that crap batting display.

I dont mind watching Pakistan... a bowling attack that LOOKS impressive. :)

It has been cloudy in Hamilton today, there's the odd shower forecast.

Switching to this game... Pakistan look to be doing very poorly?

Pakistan 76/3 (12.1/20 ov) RR 6.2

Also Rigor Richardson commentating :doh

And TAYLOR is in the NZ lineup :wall

I thought Pakistan started out strong but fizzled after the first wicket.

I'm watching also, with volume low.

LOL re Taylor :)

Innings break

Pakistan 168/7 (20/20 ov)

Umar Akmal (rhb) 56*/27...SR 207.40

Umar Akmal gave the innings a boost and some respectability. Without that Pakistan very poor. Even with Umar.. still not enough IMO I expect score of 200+ in a T20

Target for NZ 169

Pakistan 168/7 (20/20 ov)
New Zealand 171/0 (17.4/20 ov)

nz win by 10 wickets

SERIES: 1 all

And Guptill, Williamson (barely) beat a world record in partnership with 171 runs.

They start 30 min earlier Friday night.

The rubber match as we say :)
