UKIP have not voted on Tommy Robinson even joining the party?

Gerard Batten has ruled out Tommy as a UKIP candidate in the MEP elections? I guess that is "understandable" (kind of). Especially with LBC and other UK media already using "Tommy Robinson" as a club to bash UKIP... label them a fringe "Far right" party now. As opposed to Farage and his "Brexit party" which is clearly no more than a FARAGE PARTY.. a vehicle for Nigel to retain his cushy number as an MEP. He talks a good speech (on vary rare occasions) but he achieves NOTHING as a lone voice in the European talk-shop (parliament)
MAYBE Tommy needs to run as an independent (or form his own party) I suspect TIME is short to get this organized?

I have seen already the UK media dismissing UKIP as having "embraced the far right"... not true I know but ... but when has the truth mattered to MSM? They will use Tommy's involvement with UKIP as a club to bash UKIP.
I would LOVE to see Tommy as an MEP... but maybe he needs to run as an independent... or form his own party and a short list of candidates? I imagine TIME is of an essence to do that sort of thing.

Oh Tommy, Tommy.... Tommy, Tommy, Tommy, Tommy.... MEP!

Nigel Farage formally launches his MEP (Brexit Party) Campaign tomorrow

Because he is part of the Election.... he is stepping down as an LBC presenter. I daresay he will pop up as a guest politician as will people from all parties.

I assume that Parties will publish LISTS of Candidates?

UKIP and The Farage Party will be interesting.

If Tommy is NOT on the UKIP list I hope he stands as an INDEPENDENT (or a Tommy Party)

The so called "Brexit Party" (Farage Party) is obviously just a contrivance for Nigel Farage to stand and retain his MEP seat. Having Farage pontificating in Brussels is not necessarily bad... but I don't see that he is part of a group of UK MEPs or wider European MEPs, who have a cohesive mission. Farage is just there to show-boat and promote himself. The "Brexit" party did NOT stand a candidate in the Newport By-election, nor are they taking part in the nation-wide local body elections... and I very much doubt that Nigel would put in the time, money and effort to lead a Party, and run candidates in a future General election. He just in in for the "Easy" MEP election... to show-boat himself.

I'll be disappointed if the combined vote For UKIP and The Farage Party is not 30%+ :roll

I learnt a new word on Twitter - Snollygoster

snollygoster. snol·ly·gos·ter. noun. Slang. One, especially a politician, who is guided by personal advantage rather than by consistent, respectable principles.

Looks like a very handy word to have in one's vocabulary. :roll

Farage Party v UKIP

Many people (and Media) are QUICK to "hail" The Brexit Party..(The Farage Party)... and yet it is UKIP who have worked to achieve "Brexit" over the past 25 years.. as well as worked on the whole range of broader political issues. Sure, Farage was a big part of "Brexit".. but only one person among many dedicated UKIP people. To abandon UKIP after all that, and blindly follow Farage (with no Manifesto, nor stated position on issues other than Brexit) is DISLOYAL and shortsighted. Group-think, Reef fish attracted to a shiny (loud) object. Will the Farage Party be putting up Candidates, and putting in the grass-roots effort for Local Body elections? Will they even produce a Manifesto?
