Judge: Crump need not answer questions from George Zimmerman's lawyers

A Sanford judge today said no to defense attorneys for George Zimmerman, who had asked a second time that the attorney for Trayvon Martin's family be required to answer their questions under oath.

Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson made that ruling in a three sentence order that offered no explanation.

In her earlier ruling, three weeks ago, she wrote that Zimmerman's attorneys had failed to show that they could get the information from no other source, that it was relevant or crucial to the case.

This is not some scheduling SNAFU with a busy judge unable to set aside time, needing a later date.
This hearing was scheduled.. an entire day set aside.

Nelson has GONE OUT OF HER WAY to prevent this hearing happening.. prevent the accused being heard.

For weeks there has hardly been more than 15 second news segments on local Orlando stations relating to GZ's case. Tonight several segments on Robert's tweets...one segment was MOM's response..another Crump...I'm afraid MOM has given Crump another talking point. Apparently MOM said you can't tell a person's heart by his tweets, referring to RZ. Crump agrees with MOM, only he uses the statement to defend Trayvon's tweets & social media.

No video posted at WESH yet. I'll post a link when/if it's posted.

In a sarcastic, insult-laden pleading, the lead prosecutor in the George Zimmerman case on Thursday called defense attorney Mark O'Mara a "craven" duplicitous grandstander who "courts anything resembling a microphone or camera."

He also suggested that O'Mara was either unethical or does not know the meaning of one of the most common words in a defense attorney's vocabulary: exculpatory, an adjective used to describe a piece of evidence that tends to prove a suspect's innocence.

Not sure if I have a problem with that characterization.

BDLR apparently contends that evidence of W8 lying about going to the hospital is not exculpatory evidence. Perhaps because it would not be admissible impeachment evidence at trial?

The "duplicitous" part is definitely fitting.

No, the missing 5 minutes is not BDLR's fault, but, the information therein is further corroboration for GZ's statements about how the tragedy transpired.
