Jodi was trying to destroy Travis' entire life and just about did, before she killed him. HOW could he concentrate on work?
How could he get to places on time, when she kept slashing his tires?

Can you imagine the stress she put him under? Once they do it do you, they CAN do it to you again. AND she did, slashed his tires again, and his new girl's... and what was to stop her from doing it a third time?? That poor guy ... she KNEW he would live under that stress never knowing when it would happen AGAIN, OR what was NEXT??

Sure Travis was furious after ALL she did to him. Wasn't this a week or two before his murder?

I think HE WAS RIGHT! ALL OF IT! She is worthless ...

The Willmott Stack is definitely down to a few pages. I can see the light!

I know of a couple of people that have suffered verbal abuse and the escalation of what's being described in court actually happens...it just gets worse and worse and worse. You can get a divorce based on mental cruelty. I do NOT think that gives Jodi a reason to murder TA...but IMO (don't throw things at me, please ha) both of these people have/had some "real" mental problems. It's too bad that the two of them found each other. It was a very sick relationship IMO.

I completely agree that verbal abuse is no joke and I normally NEVER side with the "man" in a case - but we know better in this particular case. Not only that, remember, Jodi is in another State. They were barely 5 months together and even then, she was still living in another State. None of this excuses Jodi slaughtering him.

He could have been a terrible boyfriend (from long distance) - but it still doesn't explain the murder. Nothing either Dr. Samuels or Dr. LaViolette say have anything to do with the murder.

A point: "why" would TA keep going through a 5-6 hours of texting vile spewing; "why" would JA respond to such mess at all.

That's what I mean about "sick" - both of them kept it going.

I don't disagree with you puzzler.

But they were both well OUT of the relationship... not still within it. Jodi had to make plans and go to considerable effort to confront Travis .... not the same as reacting to being "trapped" in an abusive situation.

I don't know enough about both sides equally, but yes, completely agree that it could have been a toxic, symbiotic relationship - so many people in these kind of relationships. One of my daughters went through this with a man that was pure evil and SHOULD have been slaughtered for what he did to her.

But there is no excuse for Jodi.

I agree that none of it excuses a murder.

That they're SO far apart is even further the meaning of what I'm "trying" to say - WTH is all this 6 hours of rage about?

They're not even in the same state...yet this goes on and on and on and on???

Has there been any discussion during the trial about "drugs"...would drugs be any part of this.

You know...some people get mean/ugly/change demeanor when they drink or take drugs.

If not, this 6-hour rampage is really hard to accept as anything normal.

Yet...don't get me wrong...I'm not saying that gives Jodi an excuse for murder.

I'm just saying that "both" of these people, JA/TA, had problems.
