I think the domain areas mean more than overall.

Dr. DeMarte would use the term "aggressiveness" instead of "jerk". I like jerk better though.

Juan is talking about personality on the MMPI test. He used the word "jerk" and asked if that was a term that might be used.

Overall IQ is 119. LOL, when I had the test mine was 125. Even though above average, it doesn't mean much. However, I know I am smarter than Einstein too. :lol

I'm disappointed by the 119!

I recall being tested to see if we should/could go to Girl's High or Central back in Philadelphia. Most people who went there go to College. Had to have 114 in order to go there.
She is slightly higher ... this High School drop out.
So much for I.Q.

So, there is I.Q. and then there is E.Q. "Emotional Quotient". Jodi's I.Q. is ok but obviously her E.Q. isn't!! Left the home, quit school, moved in with boy du jour #1? Nice going for age 17 was it?
I am sure we all know people with high I.Q.'s - who are jerks?? :59

Not sure how the "jerks" thing came into play - I was distracted.

Ha, I didn't even see Juan's reference to the word "jerk".

My ex took the test to get in the Army. He had taken the Bar Exam 2 weeks previous and was waiting for the results.
He failed the Army test ... mental/emotional part. I didn't find out till married 10 years!

Some of us have BROKEN "PICKERS"!! I don't know HOW to pick 'em! Actually I might, but I don't know how to weed out the ACTORS from the real genuine people. IF they were who they PRETENDED to be, all would have been fine.

signs of psychopathology - 7 out of 10 elevations on Jodi's tests/scales

Transcribing what Dr. DeMarte explained:

"People with this personality profile exhibit hostility defensiveness, aggressiveness but do a good job on a daily basis to NOT show these things on the outside, but are still experiencing these emotions on the inside. If someone does something to hurt them or anger them, these individuals are prone to have violent outbursts - externalize it because they feel the person "did something to me," and they do not take responsibility - they justify this in their mind."

2:56 p.m. ET: DeMarte said Arias personality test results indicate she is aggressive, but good at hiding it on a day-to-day basis. People with her general profile are also good at placing blame on others. Judge Stephens has recessed court for lunch. The live blog will pick back up when testimony resumes at 4:30 p.m. ET.

2:54 p.m. ET: DeMarte said the personality Arias took had validity scales that allows the evaluator to know if the results are valid or if the test taker was lying.

2:51 p.m. ET: The personality Arias took has over 500 questions, and the questions have multiple choice answers.

2:47 p.m. ET: DeMarte said the personality test Arias took tests for traits like aggressiveness.

Seeing this PROFESSIONAL psychologist and thinking back.... it makes Dr Samuels and Alyce look very shonky... all the defence could scape up. And who is Dr Krapp?... must be even worse?

I remember being given this last test with over 500 questions by a shrink before being hired as a cop. No problem, they probably wanted aggressive, pissed off people, who kept everything they were feeling hidden. LOL

Ha ha ha ha I am glad by it!!! (Her 119).

May it always follow her around ... and her screwed up E.Q. too ... and all that goes with them!

I hope she gets a lifetime in prison!!!

R.I.P. Travis.

I hope this young witness does well on "CROSS".

Seems Dr Krapp was abandoned by defence!!

Wow she must be REALLY shonky if she is worse than Peter and Alyce :lol

Quote:
Laviolette had no business testifying in a criminal case and especially this one, she was nowhere even close to being prepped for this with just family law experience. And her "are you mad at me?" and "time out" comments were indicative of that inexperience.

I just wonder what happened with the initial Defense expert witness, Dr. Cheryl Karp, how come she wasn't used instead of Laviolette? Maybe they thought a DV expert (and she is) would be more pertinent than a psychologist and since they kept Samuels for PTSD, he sufficed.
