It is TRUE... environmentalists chose the life of seals over eskimos. Seals not an endangered species at all... their population has increased dramatically, and was never on the "endangered list". It's all Greenpeace and others and protests in Western cities, by SJW who have no idea or concern for Inuit people.....about photo ops with cute white baby seals (which are no longer hunted)
I saw a documentary film (done by a Canadian Inuit woman) documenting the DEVASTATION of the Inuit communities following the 1985 BAN on seal skin trade.... and it got worse.... they recovered partially, only to have The EU (yes those bastards) passing new laws banning Seal Skin trade. The Inuit can hunt for seal as meat... but without the fur trade there is no money to fund that... and no economy at all to speak of. Food and other goods have to be shipped in at large expense, not to mention gas-guzzling transport. VERY BAD carbon-footprint wise) To make matters worse there is now OIL exploration.... causing environmental damage... and impeding on the wildlife far more than native hunting.
