My thoughts.. George did NOT have the big ears shown in example of Chausie.

Cats OFTEN are mixes of breeds BTW

As Hillary would say "At this stage what difference does it make" :lol

Sorry to hear of George's demise.. I have had several cats fall victim to road deaths and injury... over the years. Of our current 3 cats.. one is a tripod.. we think smashed leg was result of car strike.

Agreed. George I just want to believe had some Chausie blood in him. He was certainly not purebred.

I only pay money for my working sled pulling dogs and livestock herding dogs.

I don't pay for my cats. Their job is simple. I can deal with cats.... or I can deal with mice. I choose cats.

The puppies have grown a bit. Their markings are gorgeous. I'm going there this week and will try to train the male. I was there over the July 4th weekend and still have scratches and bruises from him jumping on me. He's got powerful legs/paws. The female is less aggressive and very gentle when you tell her "down" but she looks the most fierce.

Mitzi is skeered of the water, only lies down on the top pool step to cool off. Major swims 1-2 hours a day then jumps in his float to relax. He weighs 10 lbs less than she does.

Hi WKC! :28

Thanks for the confidence boost. My husband's grandfather trained dogs, way back 60? yrs ago, so he's gonna help. (My husband, not his grandfather.) ;)

Thx for looking!

Here are a few crazy albums. Probably no one has time to see them all:

Then of course my cats:

Miniature Schnauzer is the new pup. He is almost seven months old now. Sorry some of the pics are dated.

Ruger (Miniature Schnauzer) is my wife lap dog. She has always had one. It took her two years to get over last one (we had him for 12 years) and get the new puppy. I only handle all other dogs and the cats as my job is security and rodent patrol :)

I wish I could have some Miniature Schnauzer that were the size of the Anatolians or the Malamute. That would be a truly formidable guard dog.

So here is pics of my Malamute and the blown up photo of him that my daughter gave me for Christmas.

I hope it is all understandable. He came in covered in snow and 120 seconds later he shook off and was essentially dry.

Oh how precious! Man's best friend. :)
That's amazing how he can get dry by shaking like that.
The blown up photo is gorgeous. I bet that melted your heart. Just beautiful.

Thanks for sharing!

LEO :cat

This is the sweetest kitten and SO smart! At only 4 months old, he OWNS these two big 'ole German Shepherds. Too funny to watch.

A couple more pics from our house-sitting in Dallas a few weeks ago. Sadly during the short visit, I realized that kittens are like grandchildren. Nice to visit and play with, but don't want to raise them, not at this time in my life.

Leo stayed right next to me while I was on my tablet at the kitchen table. So sweet!

Image

I found a video for cats to watch of birds chirping, running in and out of the screen while they ate. I don't know how long Leo would have watched. Chris was trying to watch a movie on his laptop and the dogs were barking at the birds, so I stopped the video after about 5 min. Too funny!
