Now that Back to the Future trivia is like, crazy stuff, Carm!

Our Texas Rangers won their first playoff game today so "it's on". :)

Carm, you probably know the Texas Rangers didn't make it. :( But what an exciting game. A "never before" call that emptied both benches, then another delay for fans throwing stuff on the field. I did see where an infant got hit in the head with a beer can, hoping the child is not hurt badly. So senseless.

I know Rumpole has a vid called "You Can't Say Cunt in Canada" but the Toronto fans were certainly THAT.

GO CUBBIES! :77

I didn't see the Rangers game but how horrible about the fans and the poor little baby :(

I just looked to see if there is anything about it.
There are videos and stories. The person was arrested and charged.
It really did get out of control. Now I hope Kansas City beats Toronto. :)

CO CUBS! :77

I suspect that this is a hoax, as in the guy was watching the game on TV and that is the "Go, Cubs, Go," that is heard in the background. Anyhow it is a cool concept :69

I think it is real, Carm!
Gullible me thinks if it were on the TV, it would be clearer .. some of the sound lost in traveling the distance. I hear CO Cubs GO. ;)

Now they need to beat the Mets and enjoy all the excitment of a World Series! Image

GO Cubbies!

You may be right Molly, I'm just surprised more people didn't capture it but maybe they did.

I'm looking for a sweep :77

Hi Carm! :69

Chris and I still BELIEVE!

The Rangers went 2-0 early, winning the first two games, and ... lost the next three.

We're pulling for the Cubs to win, one at a time. Home field advantage will make a big difference. :)

Cubs' Manager, Joe Maddon, named NL Manager of the Year.

Rangers' Manager, Jeff Banister, named AL Manager of the Year.

And this Carm, is WHY our teams should have been playing each other in the World Series. ;)

Woot, woot! :91

Congrats to the Cubs on winning the World Series!

This was an unbelievable series! 7 games, tied in the bottom of the 8th, rain delay. :63

See my post at Gab. :D

I agree, WKC, one of the best I can remember watching in a long time. The Cubs catcher (Ross) is retiring and it was his last game, and when he hit the HR is was magic. I think they said he is the oldest player to hit a home-run in a World Series. So he broke a record as well. :)
