I thought i wound start a thread about " What's to Eat? " I love to plan a meal & cook. It's a challenge to come up with a healthy meal for one. My cooking has changed since my kids were young & changed quite a lot these last few years. I still remember some of my favirite meals & try to make them healthier.
I've even found cyber meals! :98 I have a Diner/Cafe at the WW game.

I'm going to start with what I had last night.

Baked Tilapia, in foil, with Lemon Pepper & i opened the foil the last few minuets to brown.
Southern Hushpuppies
Crispy French Fries
All baked on the same cookie sheet - not much cleaning up!
Made Tatersauce & added tobacco to my Catsup
Red Iced Tea
Angle Food Cake with fresh peaches
Heavy Cream, i added heavy vanilla & sweetened by Stevia

So how about sharing your meals or or memories? I've read on other threads some of y'all talking about cooking. Come share!
:35
Rumpy if you need to move this, Please do! :86

I love cheese sandwiches! Especially with lettuce and tomato...on a plain toasted bagel or on a Publix sub or egg rolls. Publix grocery store has the best tasting bread, IMHO.

I eat a cheese sandwich almost every day. I like swiss or colby jack with chips and cheetos. And tomato juice. Maybe a big kosher pickle.

Last night I made a vegetarian Hot Tamale Pie. It's easy & all made in one covered microwave dish. I start with grits, cooked firm, layer cheese & onions, can vegetarian chilli then top with cheese. I like a sharp cheese next to the grits. I used asiago first then the vegetarian motsarellia on top. Chips & salsa unsweetened green Tea. Then dessert was I searving if sugerfree Angle Food cake, 1/8 of the whole cake! Sliced into 3 pices & layer Frozen Blueberries & buttercream icing inbetween. :31

In a word......... NOTHING!

I get weekends off... besides I will only post when I feel inspired.

How about you? What would you whip up given half a chance?

Reservations!

Today I had an amazing pasta salad with smoked Gouda cheese and Chipotle courtesy of Whole Foods Market. I also had their Sweet Potato Chipotle soup...they have some incredible soups!!

Did you know that a chipotle is a smoke-dried jalapeƱo?

The chiles are smoked for several days until most of the moisture is removed. In the end, the chipotles have dried up in a manner akin to prunes or raisins.

I just dropped and this meal got my attention.

Couple of questions: Where do you live to eat like this?

What is Tatersauce?

What do you mean by this; "added tobacco to my Catsup"

What is red iced tea?

Hi Jordan2
I don't think Lady~E will be coming back to post again.

Maybe "google" will have some answers :)
