Thanks Pack. On-going care by everyone.

Just made my own Teriyaki Sauce. Easy ~~ Soy Sauce, brown sugar, (2 to 1), ginger, garlic.

Had a late lunch . Teriyaki Salmon!

Always better, always cheaper! THE WAY TO GO!
Going to be making some fruit tarts ... mini fruit tarts.
I just bought Temp-tations 24 mini muffin pan. It is stoneware. All those products,
refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher, etc. GREAT reasonable line. Just got her burnt pan. GREAT!!! NON STICK!
Also, can use it for making meatballs, quiches, mac and cheese, potato recipes, corn breads, deviled eggs, cup cakes (gifts for Holiday time), muffins - GREAT for serving in too!!! Comes with it's own serving rack double as a "cooling rack". LOVE that line. QVC has it. Shhhh I just bought K37849 Didn't care about the color. WANTED IT!!! I really love their Floral Lace ... beautiful!!!

You don't remember I bet when Kiwi was called "Ugly Fruit". Good move by the growers!! :11

I have mini muffin pans, regular muffin pans (all stoneware) and they are GREAT!!!
I am looking forward to this winter. Some dear friends around here, will be fun to "give". AND the holidays
are coming!

"Kiwi" were never called "Ugly fruit" or even "Ugli Fruit" which is a trade marked name for a type of citrus:

In NZ, home of the "Kiwi".... The fruit used to be called "Chinese Gooseberry" when I was a boy.. because it was originally just that... and an import from China. A common thing to find in Auckland gardens as an overgrown vine... but the fruit almost never seen for sale in shops.
NZ horticultural bofins developed larger better fruit and it did take off as a popular fruit for sale locally and as an export... but other countries (of course) pinched the name, often selling inferior fruit and damaging the brand name "Kiwi Fruit" or "Kiwi"..

So nowadays NZ Kiwi Fruit is actually marketed under the copyrighted brand name "Zespri"

In NZ it is still referred to mostly as Kiwi Fruit... "Zespri" is still export brand.

We would not call the fruit just "Kiwi" because that would be taken as a reference to the National emblematic local bird "The Kiwi" Also quite a common (friendly/well received) name for us people from NZ.. we are refered to as "Kiwis"

Ugly fruit is SURE ugly isn't it? Good name. Ha ha ha ha.
Oh I can see a big tart, kiwi around the outside rim, peaches next circle, strawberries the next circle,
Raspberries next, then blueberries in the center. THEN a glaze.

Shhhh Don't forget many of the large food markets are getting in their "Herbal plants" for Thanksgiving.
Thyme, Sage, and Rosemary all in one plant. Grow them in your kitchen, even if you have to separate them!!! Can save them or freeze them too. Can do a search on that. Shhhh

I believe the FIRST Slow Cooker site ... oldest.

Click on "Recipes" once there. You will see about 5 pages or more of recipes. When I KNOW I will be tired ... I always turn to my slow cooker. Never have to worry about the bottom burning... they cook from the sides! Set and forget! Great invention isn't it?

I always rub olive oil on the cooking well first, easier clean up.

This is a square very very strong, sturdy non-stick (for real) muffin pan. Love this! Ordered a second one.
SEE the VIDEO there! Quiches, Mac and cheese, Meatloaf (freeze the ones you want to save), "Stuffing",
Pizza, Leomon squares, Blondies, Brownies, Corn muffins, Pound cake, Pumpkin chiffon pies, etc. etc. READ the REVIEWS there. Two hundred something. Just about every one is 5 stars!!
People LOVE this pan!! My quiches just about slid out. Great gift for $20. :26

I have been having fun with my good toaster oven. They have now small sets of pans ... made especially for toaster ovens.
The "muffin pan" I use for browning my meatballs, and making Bisquick biscuits/parmesean cheese, chopped onions, etc. when I find I am out of bread!

And too, they have a pan for anything, mac and cheese, kind of deep, and a cookie sheet! I used the cookie sheet today. Heard recently that "roasted vegetables" are much better than boiled. AND shrimp too!! If we think about that we KNOW they are!!
I had Brussels sprouts ... which aren't one of my favorites, only trying for variety and to be healthy! Washed, cleaned them and cooked them in the microwave for about 4 minutes with a little water. Then in the cookie sheet pan, I put olive oil, salt and pepper and the sprouts. I turned them over and over getting them all covered. (Didn't even need to dirty a bowl!) Turned on my pre-heated toaster oven... and after about 3-4 minutes, turned them over for a few more minutes.
THE BEST BRUSSELS SPROUTS I have ever had!!!
I learned this from Ina Garten ... a GREAT CHEF!
The toaster oven will be great too in the summer... won't heat up the kitchen central air or not! :84

I hardly use my toaster oven anymore. Not sure why. Those Brussels sprouts sound delish, Joni. I like them as long as they aren't bitter. (I usually buy them already cooked and prepared at Whole Foods.)

You make it sound so easy to make these recipes!

MM me too until I saw on QVC a bakeware set for Toaster Ovens. I bought it - LOVE IT ... discovered a whole new world!! Use mine now all the time. They don't have them anymore I don't think. I looked.

Here are some places though who do sell them. I like the muffin tin for browning my meatballs easily, plus buiscuits if I'm OUT of bread! Maybe you would want one of them. Shallow like cookie sheet for the vegs., open face sandwiches? Oh Colby Cheese open face sandwiches - so great!!! Deeper pan for anything else, brownies, stuffed cabbages, etc.
I hope this link works... if not search for bakeware for Toaster Ovens. Before this I only used it for great Colby open face sandwiches... sometimes with slices of tomato on it too. Yummmm! Opened up a whole new world for me ... that cute little set. Non stick too! Just seems so much LESS of a fuss using that ... ...

Just learned AND IT WORKS ... to make light meatballs.

Put some Ricotta cheese in the meatballs when mixing them. I also put a TBS or 2 of
the sauce in with them. Little milk, S and P, sometimes little onion. Used to put in some freshly
grated Parmesan Cheese in them. Didn't this time.

Have an advanced ordered cook book from a Chef from Italy. Will get it in about a month. He said to put
some Ricotta cheese into your meatballs mix ... in addition to whatever else you use, AND PUT THEM DIRECTLY INTO THE BUBBLING SAUCE/GRAVY!
