Oh my! Just awful, jayjerome... that poor girl.

We'll leave this here for a bit so more people will see it but it's probably more properly in a news thread. And we all know how ship-shape Cap'n Rumpole keeps RT. :)

I thought it sorta fit here after watching the surveillance photo of the suspect at the link -- he had the same 'suspicious' nervous looking around glancing movements in his hoodie as TM showed at the 7/11 -- Plus us 'creative' types have no concept of orderliness, as one look at my work room (knicknamed hurricane alley) would indicate :blush .. But feel free to move it where ever you like

WATERMELLON HEAD - ARE YOU LISTENING?

http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2013/08/04/ ... -from-rap/

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Tawana Brawley, the woman who was the center of a racial controversy involving rape allegations a quarter century ago, has begun making payments to a man who won a defamation judgment against her.

Brawley has paid $3,764.61 to former prosecutor Steven Pagones, according to a New York Post report.

In 1987 when she was 15, Brawley went missing from her home in upstate Wappingers Falls. After she was found, she claimed she had been abducted and raped by a group of white men – including at least one police officer. Brawley is black.

The allegations set off a racial firestorm, but a grand jury ultimately decided they were false.

A token payment only of course.

It makes sense to me that people who falsely accuse should be sentenced to the equivalent sentence the accused was facing.

And he should be responsible but he gets a pass. Maybe too many people are feeling guilty for the past that they were not involved with.

Black thugs attack a white kid.
No Black leaders speaking out condemning them.
Few major news media covering the brutal assault
Half-white Obama all silent.
Sharpton and Jackson mum.
Who is going to speak up for this white boy? :78

Alleged abductor of California teen killed in Idaho wilderness; captive rescued
By Greg Botelho. Mariano Castillo and David Simpson, CNN
August 11, 2013 -- Updated 0154 GMT (0954 HKT)

(CNN) -- James DiMaggio -- the California murder suspect who allegedly kidnapped 16-year-old Hannah Anderson -- was fatally shot Saturday by an FBI agent in the Idaho wilderness, authorities said.

Authorities first spotted the pair's campsite from the air, then sent in law enforcement personnel on the ground, said San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore. An FBI tactical agent shot and killed DiMaggio, 40, during a confrontation about 5:15 p.m. (7:15 p.m. ET) near Morehead Lake, according to the sheriff.

The teenage girl was found alive near him.

"Hannah is safe, and that was our first priority from the very beginning," Valley County, Idaho, Sheriff Patti Bolen said.

For now this has been a local story, but depending on the outcome, that might change. They feel empowered now.

State Attorney's Office continues investigation into man hit, killed by police cruiser

Quote:
"Harris, a rookie police officer and military veteran, was fired May 31. His attorney Eric Latinsky said Thursday that Brown's death was an accident that happened during a fast-moving situation. He said he hopes that's the conclusion reached by prosecutors."

"Community leaders called for an investigation into the death of Brown, a popular Spring Hill barber who had been arrested numerous times in the past two decades."

“Leaders in the community are asking people to be patient through the process and at that point, based on the information, we'll have to formulate a game plan,” Johnson said."

There was/is a civil judgment against Al (may he be prosecuted fully and soon) Sharpton; I thought it was the Brawley case, but maybe for a different one? I remember reading about it not too long ago, how he has refused to pay anything, claiming he had no money, no assets, even his suits were owned by NAN or some other entity.

Edit - Yes, found the info in the Al (may he be prosecuted fully and soon) Sharpton thread and added more. :)

WISCONSIN -
A Wisconsin woman is in jail after being accused of holding two men against their will and forcing one of them to have sex with her.

Terry L. Boyd, 52, was arrested on Monday and charged with false imprisonment, obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and bail jumping for two separate incidents where she imprisoned men, one of whom was her roommate.

The first incident happened around 3:49 a.m. when officers responded to a call from neighbors who heard a loud argument and a man screaming for help.

Officers arrived to see Boyd blocking the entrance. One of the men in the incident threw a set of keys to the cops who then forced their way into the house, according to the Wisconsin Rapids Tribune.

The men told the officers that the suspect refused to let them leave until one of them had sex with her. The male victims were rescued but told police they did not want to press charges, according to the police report.

Teens hurt in riot at Polk County juvenile detention facility

http://www.wftv.com/news/news/local/tee ... nti/nZR67/

Just a little Saturday night fun...

"During the riot, deputies said the juveniles trashed 18 of the 20 buildings, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage. Officials said all of the golf carts on the premises were taken over by the juveniles. The teens also set fire to a dumpster and one office building that housed juvenile records, according to officials."
