It seems to me that Defense Ugly twin is shooting herself in the foot as she goes... she wants possibility of parole to be considered earlier (before Chis is 40).. just in case Chism can convince some bleeding heart to let him go after a few years. THAT is exactly WHY he needs to NOT be eligible for parole. Sure as eggs.. some liberal limp-brained dope will want to let him go... and he WILL be a threat to society

I think parole at age 64 is too soon for Chis, and that parole should be denied at first request., but he will get out eventually...while in his 60's... and will still be a threat.

The good news is.... he SHOULD get another sentence on top for his next case (attempted murder)... lets hope 25 years for that?

First parole possibility when he is 79 seems about right to me :cool

Also... the Ugly Twin should GRASP that if, as she suggests MAY happen, Chism in fact DOES at some future date change, come to realize what he has done, have regrets, remorse etc... GREAT... then he can serve his long sentence as punishment, make amends, suffer if and when he experiences "remorse" :roll
In one sense Chism changing and having remorse makes a long sentence even better... the point is to PUNISH him.

But 40 years for rape and 40 years for robbery (concurrent with murder sentence)

I am confused.. but I assume he cant get out for 40 years?

With credit for "good time" served on 40 year sentence, #PhilipChism will serve between 27-30 years before being eligible for parole.

It seems "fucking nuts" to me that knickers theft (armed robbery) warrants 40 years.. same as rape, both more than for murder??? :95


And a VERY brutal murder at that Lirette style choking, followed by stabs and slashes with a box cutter.. lots of blood and suffering :eek
