Prosecutors are seeking the Death Penalty.. hence the need for this "Aggravation Phase" then if necessary a "Penalty Phase" hearing...

Jurors find Bryan Wayne Hulsey is eligible for the death penalty for 2007 murder of Glendale Police Officer Anthony Holly.



The jury responsible for deciding the fate of convicted killer Bryan Wayne Hulsey determined he was eligible for the death penalty after finding Thursday that there were aggravating factors present when he murdered Glendale police officer Anthony Holly in 2007.

In Arizona, there must be proof of at least one aggravating factor that makes the murder worthy of a death sentence. The factors are selected from a list in state statutes and Deputy County Attorney Juan Martinez presented three to jurors on Thursday in Maricopa County Superior Court.

Dr Hayes for the state interviewed #bryanhulsey and some of the interview can't be used

Defense says Juan didn't give enough boundaries for Dr Hayes when she interviewed #bryanhulsey. He wants sanctions.

Defense says #bryanhulsey was interrogated by Dr Hayes

Juan said he put it on record prior what Dr Hayes would ask. She's didn't ask about killing or the threats #bryanhulsey made to attorney's

Judge is giving jury a break. They are all visibly upset and made eye contact with the family as the left courtroom
