Major and Mitzi will be 4 mos next week. They sure have grown and are super smart. Major jumps in the pool and swims all over. Mitzi is learning with help. When she can't find the steps, Major jumps in, tries to grab her neck or ear and steer her towards the steps. He has big ears and one is still floppy.

I like how they are sitting almost the same way as the pic above. Mitzi has a pretty face.

Mitzi and Major at 9 mos. The teeth look fierce but they are so gentle and sweet. Major still has one floppy ear. Looks like it stands up only b/c his head is back. Can't wait to play with them next week. :heart

Thank you, Mal. I did have fun with them, but it was raining, and wet dogs are ..... UGH! Get to see them in another week. :)

Molly those are two beautiful animals. I am assuming German Shepherd or Belgian Malinois.... most likely the former. I bet they are a pleasure to work with. I am going back in thread to get more details that I am sure are mentioned on sex/age etc so I am not forcing you to repeat information.

GORGEOUS ANIMALS! Wait till they fully mature then they will be truly majestic :)

Enjoyed reading your story and would love to see pics! It took me a while but Rumpole has great, detail instructions in the HELP folder http://www.randomtopics.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=36.
If I can do it, YOU can :) And an account at PhotoBucket is easy to set up and use.

These are my German Shepard grand-furbabies at 8 weeks, Mitzi and Major. Can't wait to meet them in two weeks!

I LOVE IT! Watching and working with these two pups as they have grown MUST be a satisfying experience. Albeit with it's trials =p

I have two pups that are German Shepherd / Border Collie mix and I have an Alaskan Malamute that is convinced the universe was created solely for his benefit.

MOAR PICS! (I will get some more together as well.)

Your dogs are beautiful, WKC. I noticed the german shepherd markings/color, and now the border collie shows. The Alaskan Malamute is gorgeous and it looks like you have perfect weather for him.

Oh seeing that puppy pic (above) makes me smile big :D

Actually, they are my daughter's (and hubby, kids) German Shepherds.

We owned bro/sis Cocker Spaniels for 16 years. Would love to own a pair of dogs again but just can't because of traveling. Getting two kittens (adopting) in a few months and I am REALLY excited. I've never owned a cat but my husband has, so I think they will be enjoyable. And I can always ask cat Qs to Rumpole, he's the cat whisperer. :cat

Only downside of cats is they won't be joining me in the pool like the dogs did. :stamp

After reading through much of this thread I suddenly realize that I need to get with rumpole on skype or some type of VTC session and have him help me identify the breeds of some of my cats :)

When people start to give me a bad time I remind them that I certainly may have a cat problem... but I have NO mouse problems EVER! =p

I am no expert on fancy breeds... cats are cats :cool

Short-haired domestic covers most :)

So is the grey cat with blue rings around its pupil and green iris colored eyes simply a short hair domestic? I have pics of my coolest cat ever. He was taken by a truck in our yard driveway last fall:

Here are pics of George (let him rest in peace):
