Hi WKC :28
Interesting info. We have grackles down here that are big pests.
You can't park your car anywhere downtown anymore, without getting a white coating of poop within minutes! They are loud also and the decorative trees that line the sidewalks are full of them. Reminds me of "The Birds" movie. :)

So I did not mean that comment to come across as negative at all.

We really enjoyed them and thought it was great to be able to see them so often each day while we were fishing and at the lodge. So we were taking pictures and such. The locals were less impressed of course as they see it everyday. We see some Bald Eagles here in my local area. However, it is a few times a month at most and that is if you are spending time near the river and watching. Otherwise you may only come across them a few times a year.

So to wake up to their squawking nests at the lodge and watch them circle us as we were salmon fishing was really a treat for all of us.

I got this from the overhead cam. B9 was hatched early this morning before sunrise. It still feels comfortable sitting in the shell. Dad is caring for them now, but he was up walking around trying to catch flies when this was taken. When mom returns, she will take care of the messy nest. This is it for a while for photos. Scrolling down the page will show the most current pics posted without having to go to FB.

Is anyone else watching April, waiting for the calf to be born? I heard about her about a week ago but just started watching & keeping tab open to peek in throughout the day.

All information is in the comment section. Very interesting.
