MM I saw it. I think basically his little neck is twisted around. It seemed to be sideways, almost looking toward the back - not quite.

He was eating ... poor little guy. Life is hard enough without physical problems!! :10

Huge cat roaming suburbs

A "Savannah" cat got loose from its owner's enclosure and was spotted walking the streets of New Jersey. A mix between an African serval cat and a domestic cat, it has spots and is around 20 pounds.

Baboon Adopts Stray Kitten

A baboon at an Israeli petting zoo has adopted a tiny kitten that recently strayed into its cage. Video released by the zoo shows the baboon caring for the kitten, stroking it and checking its fur for fleas as it would care for its own infant. (Nov. 8)

We all know housecats trip out big-time on catnip, which is basically feline weed. But do big cats get high off the stuff too? The answer, according to this video, is a resounding yes. Shot in 2010, the vid is going viral again today (maybe everyone's got pot on the brain with the recent marijuana legalization measures) with its depictions of big cats gone wild, though we don’t approve of the sleazy music these animals apparently listen to while binging on the herb. Still, we are hopeful that, because this video was uploaded by Big Cat Rescue, these animals were in rescue facilities, safe from poachers, before they got high.

When I disturb my cats in a stand off with another cat.. the strange cat will often run.. and the home cat "thinks" he has won.. so he chases after...

My boy Ivor has only 3 legs (see members pets thread).. so can get beaten up.. I wish he would just be happy the other cat ran. Also.... if a cat takes off across the road the pursuer follows without looking.... and I have lost cats to road accidents before :13

Haiku's Car Wash Horror


From the Video Description:
This is my generally silly dog, Haiku, a Siberian Husky / Australian Shepherd mix who just turned one year old.

And this was his very first ride through the car wash.

(No animals were harmed in the making of this video. Soon after the ordeal ended, we stopped to vacuum out the inside of the car and Hike was bouncy and happy as ever. He makes the same horrified face when I drag him into the tub for a bath, although he loves running through puddles in the rain and swimming in mud.)

What a great face. I am sure he wasn't traumatised... his owner was obviously in the car with him... filming. He certaily has the look though :81
