On a side note, I have a new kitten that showed up a few weeks ago Now neutered and up to date on shots. Earlier in the summer a new born kitten was found in the neighbors yard. Umbilical cord, sac and wet. Hand raised that one. I now have four cats. So as involved as I am with dogs, I am learning how to be owned by cats. Did I mention I also raised two squirrels in early spring. Two or three days old when found after having a tree cut down. IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING!!!

As a spokesman for all cats... thanks for saving and looking after the kitten :)

Now just do what he/she tells you to do.

HA HA HA!!! Rumpole,
No problem doing what he says. I mind VERY well.
I always said if I ever had a cat (in the house) it would be a sphinx. But I would never buy a cat. The poodles don't shed. Shedding dogs (and cats) are not (were not) for me. The kennel cats drive me crazy with the shedding but it least it wasn't in the house. I have really really enjoyed the hand raised cat.
Now I wear cat hair on my clothes. Ehh life is short, I finally realized a little cat hair never hurt anyone.

I am thinking that little sphinx kitten I always wanted is on the horizon.

Leo was honored tonight with extra treats. :cat
He found a grass snake in the bedroom during the night (behind the dresser), brought it out to the hallway, and killed it.

________
eta: That's hilarious, Rumpole, to bring in a live critter and go chasing after it again. ;)

I don't know the whole story and there are no snake pics so I'm a bit skeptical.

Leo only goes outside with supervision.

Good work Leo... but...

Did he bring it in.. in the first place?

Maybe not... if he is an inside cat... but I know my cats (Cerys) used to bring in live prey (rats) and let them go... only sometimes catch them again... they bring in their catch as a gift :doh

This is five minutes after putting up first tree. :cat
He's lying in the same spot as last year. No ornaments this year.

Oh I know, Rumpole. She is absolutely crazy about Leo.
Their 5 trees are named: Momo Ornaments Tree, Love Tree, Hallmark Ornaments Tree, Gold Tree, and the Leo Tree, it's HIS now. She told me no ornaments, but I see on her FB, a gif of Leo pawing a single ornament at the bottom of the tree. So it's got one, for him.

I just checked FB to see if it has a name yet, nope. :roll
This was to be Leo's new sister but the vet discovered it is a he during the fix procedure.
Louie, as I call him, is so smart at 10 weeks old and I think he is so cute. Leo is not adjusting to Louie as well as they hoped but, he's only been at his new home since Saturday.

Louie's sister LAYLA.
Louie is not his real name, I don't like the name they picked. ;)

Yes they do. (short answer) ;)
When they went to adopt Louie, Layla was not there as she was underweight. A week later when Gary called the place looking for a female around Louie's age, they said his sister was about to be placed, she needed to weigh 2 lbs first. So they waited 3 days until she was available. They had no idea Louie had a sister when they adopted him.

I have a new toy poodle show dog. Her name is Bliss. She is nine months old and this weekend was her first show. She won toy poodle best of variety over champions and Best of Opposite sex to Best in Show. Very exciting for a puppy. Hoping for big things for her. She is 8 1/2 inches tall and weighs three pounds.
