Thanks for the new thread, Rumpole. :)
How in the world does DailyMail get info so quickly, my gosh!

Muslims? Well …

They didn't blow themselves up.
But, they did use an IED, possibly.
Described at light skinned.

News is slowly coming in, not much new, yet.

It's Canada.. so they will downplay if it is Muslims...

There are TWO words you cant say in Canada... one is Islamic :roll

I dont see how they can tell "light skinned" from the photo... and besides... Islam comes in all shades... they can even be Gingers (in UK) :)

IF they are white... no doubt it will be said to be white racists attacking Indian restaurant.

The second was thin, and wore faded blue jeans, a grey t-shirt and a dark zip-up hoody over his head, also with his face covered.

Right, I agree Rumpole.

The twitter account I posted above is saying one is light-skinned, one fair-skinned.

But I'm with you, they come in all shades, especially if homegrown terrorists.

I'm more curious about the IED/bomb. To injure 15, THREE in critical condition, I picture something massive.

Dressed like they were, it's not like they were being taken to a table by a hostess.

Nah a small hand grenade does a lot of damage....could be small bomb... with shrapnel.... some injured may be minor.

I assume the fat one is carrying the bomb in his hand in photo.

It's Canada...

Police said there was nothing in their investigations so far which suggested terrorism or hate crime, adding that they were ruling nothing out in terms of the possible motive for the attack. An improvised explosive device was used in the attack.

Police chief Jennifer Evans, in a Friday morning conference, said the investigation was in its “early stages”. She said: “Every police resource is being used to locate the people responsible for this horrendous act.”

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressed “solidarity” with the victims of the violence.

One of two suspects in Mississauga restaurant bombing could be a woman, police say
By Clare Rayment | TheStar | May 29, 2018

Police aren’t ruling out that one of the two suspects in the explosion at a Mississauga restaurant last week was a woman.

Peel Region police Supt. Rob Ryan said at a news conference Tuesday that while they initially thought that both suspects were male, they are looking into the possibility that one of the bombers could be a woman.

That’s based on the evidence from witnesses, as well as area surveillance video, Ryan told reporters.

Investigators are now analyzing evidence gathered from the Bombay Bhel restaurant, and have confirmed that the improved explosive device was homemade.

“Whatever was put in that may be lying around the home,” Supt. Ryan said. “We’re hoping science can help identify what it’s made of.”

Police are still unclear on the motive for the bombing and no one is claiming responsibility.

“We know there are people who know who did this, and its time for them to come forward,” Ryan said.

IDK. :roll

If one is a women it is the stocky one coming in first (with the big hips) and the first one running out (farthest away) in the video.
IMO, neither one running looks how a girl runs, definitely not the last one with the long stride.

Canadian police continue to look for the bombers.
No suspects, no arrests.

Quote:
The suspects — who, if caught, will be charged with attempted murder and several other offences related to the explosion — were in and out of the restaurant in a short amount of time around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, and fled the scene on foot before their homemade explosive device detonated, police said.

Investigators have traced the suspects' escape route with drones and dogs, and believe the pair headed east from Bombay Bhel, cutting through a construction site and then a residential subdivision, Ryan said.

Police have said they think the suspects ultimately got into a vehicle.

Ryan said assistance from the community would be "critical" to the investigation, and urged anyone with information to contact police, whether they were in the area of the restaurant on the night of the bombing, or know something about the suspects.

"We know there are people out there who know who did this and it's time for them to do the right thing and come forward," Ryan said.
