LMAO! #WanderingHillary Don't know how you did it, but GREAT layering. I think Judy Miller should be on FOX more tonight. I wish they would STOP talking about who said what, when about Assad earlier this week. OR about Trump's tweets years ago. Using WMDs against Assad's own people changed the game two days ago. President Trump has shown he can act, and get the job done, in a short time-span. I did see Nikki Haley speaking to the UN Security Counsel yesterday and showing photos of the gassed children. She is such an improvement to what we've had in the years past. ETA Please post, Rumpole, if you hear of ANY reaction from Russia. I keep thinking about watching RT but get distracted. Will look now. |

LOL Now I know who she is, Judy Miller is on a lot with Bret Baier. ETA RT showing propaganda IMO. Now showing injured Syrians being carried away from where the US airstrikes were, only it is bright daylight, and the strikes happened at 4:00AM. Caption on the poorly taped video says "Unverified Video". The lady commentator also said that "there was an investigation being done on the use of chemical weapons, but the United States did not wait for the results, President Trump acted as judge jury and executioner." I still to this day believe that Hussein removed WMD out of Iraq into Syria before we attacked in 2001. |

I am watching RT (Russian TV) coverage. Very biased... of course. But so are the US networks... The Russians are NOT as bad as Shep Smith, CNN's lemon, Wolf Blitzer etc etc. Reporting 6 dead (2 civilians) in the US strike. I think I heard mention of 14 planes damaged. It is hard to dismiss some of the points made on RT..... certainly there is room to want to see EVIDENCE that Assad used chemical weapons? It makes NO SENSE.. he was being "tolerated" and accepted in statements from Trump administration. WHY would he target a few civilians at all, let alone use chemical weapons KNOWING the sort of International reaction?? Assad would need to be INSANE. One RT suggestion is that the rebels were storing Chemical weapons (which they have been shown to have) and the gas was released when a REBEL storage site was bombed (by conventional bombs). I do hope Trump has GOOD intel proving Assad dropped chemical bombs. I am not sure I TRUST US "deep state" intel especially the way they have colluded with anti-Trump factions. And lets not forget US intel were wrong (told lies) about Sadam having WMD's |

Don't know if we'll ever know where the Sarin Gas originated but the deed is done and America is a paper tiger no more. Trump had to act. He has announced that the mission is over. This was simply an announcement that there is a new sheriff in town. I believe it is good for President Trump. It was decisive, direct, and forewarned. Kin jung un will think twice before he pulls some nonsense as he just watched what happens when you bite the tail of the tiger. It was a very modest response, I don't think too many little men are going to want to push the envelope too far. Of interest is there were no Russian aircraft on the airfield. Of greater interest is that as the tomahawks were launching Trump was sharing dinner with Xi Jinping. "Oh by the way Mr. Jinping we are sending 60 Tomahawks into a Syria airfield, how do you like the Crème brûlée?" |

From Stella's a very sound article about why Assad would use sarin gas against his own people. Why did Assad use nerve gas? http://www.atimes.com/assad-use-nerve-gas/ I haven't been over to the TH but apparently folks are going nuts and saying that it was the neocons . |

Carmelita wrote: Nice picture, thanks Molly! The picture speaks a thousand words to me, Carm. President Trump and Melania (VP Pence was also in attendance) honored 51 wounded warriors at the White House yesterday, hosted a dinner later with China's President Xi Jinping in FL, and then the Syria attack occurred. BTW, I like your quote above, lol. After seeing the photo, just thinking about how many people are involved in briefing, advising and working to accomplish President Trump's directives. |

Russian warship steams toward US destroyers that launched Syria strikes By Lucas Tomlinson | FOX News | April 7, 2017 A Russian warship entered the eastern Mediterranean Friday and was heading toward the area where two U.S. Navy destroyers launched missile strikes into Syria, Fox News has learned. The Russian frigate, Admiral Grigorovich RFS-494, crossed through the Bosphorus Strait “a few hours ago” from the Black Sea, according to a U.S. defense official. The Russian warship is now in the eastern Mediterranean steaming in the direction of the U.S. warships. The Admiral Grigorovich is armed with advanced Kalibr cruise missiles. Also Friday, one of the American destroyers that launched the missiles into Syria started heading to an undisclosed location to rearm. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/04/07 ... rikes.html |

Referencing my brief flirtation with RT TV (Russian Propaganda).... It is OBVIOUS that RT TV is propaganda... pushing a narrative, it's not hard to see past it. CNN and other US networks are WORSE!!! |

As expressed above... I cant get to the point where I totally agree with this air strike. I can see some up-side with it as a warning, a demonstration.... but I really DO NOT think the US should be involved in yet another "regime change" in the middle East. It has NEVER worked out well.
