The Evidence is real, the Indictments are Fake...

I see "OIG REPORT coming out in January" is IMPRINTED on the Conservative Collective... :roll
Even though it has been already delayed to April... maybe!

And it remains JUST A REPORT!!

A long winded report no doubt if it is going to end up taking a year and a half to complete.. but a report of possible procedure (and ethics) violations in the DOJ and FBI. No mention of an empaneled Grand Jury, or indictments. It may (or may not) cite crimes...RECOMMEND criminal INVESTIGATIONS... but THAT will no doubt involve yet MORE months/years of investigation.. and who knows if anything will come of it? They may fall back on the old "no intent" excuse.

LOL, they are still saying January? :84

Image

Is the OIG investigation the one that already is 1.2 million pages of documents? :roll

I'm not holding my breath for an April, 2018 release. I'm wondering if it has to go to or through all the Intel committees? I'm betting after The Big Ugly happens in January ... wait, are these two one in the same, or two different happenings? ;) There are many more subpoenas to be issued, crooks to be interviewed, no-shows to be rescheduled.

Yeah... It's gonna be a spell yet!!

Maybe Jeff "Banjo" Sessions should aim at tunin' up his Grand Jury banjo... mid 2019?

Sessions has ordered the DOJ/FBI to look into the Uranium One activities, mainly how the Clinton Foundation was involved. Has this not been ongoing for a while?

I see McCabe testifying again, this time before a House committee. Behind closed doors again.
I await reports or leaks from today. ;)

So... Sessions has said somebody should look at U1 and see if there is any there there :roll
It's been a year... but "better late than never" (I guess) :roll
(And what about all the other Clinton crimes?)

Next, I guess, maybe an inquiry?.. and a report in a year or so?

Reports are GREAT... but they ain't the same as Empaneled Grand Juries and Criminal Investigations.. and Indictments.. and prosecutions.

Does Jeff KNOW that as AG he can direct FBI to undertake Criminal investigations... as well as suggest DOJ inquiries and reports? :doh

Remember Jeff Sessions has called for staff to "look into" the U1 investigation... that's all. This is NOT a formal FBI Criminal Investigation.... it's just an "Inquiry" into a "Matter"

The Conservative Collective were all excited when Hillary's email crimes were started to be "looked into" back in 2015. They were convinced that there was so much "there there" that Hillary would be indicted.. along with many accomplices.... what happened to that? After a year we had lots of "immunity deals" and Hillary herself... no intent.... said to be merely "careless" :roll
And THAT was an actual FBI CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION (not just an Inquiry into a "matter")

How soon people forget.. the same people excited for a year at the prospect of Hillary Indicted for "email crimes" are again excited about the mere hint of U1 crimes being looked at. And Sessions saying lets look is STILL at the level of "a matter"
And perhaps people are too young to know (and have not researched) Whitewater... Hillary and Bill CRIMINAL investigations from 30 years ago... crimes from 40 years ago. Then there was "Travel-gate". I could go on. :roll

The Evidence is real, the Indictments are Fake...

I LOVE IT! What surprises me is... a group called Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (or CREW) suing the POTUS. Gotta be backed by Soros money. Everyone knows Trump has the best lawyers in DC.

Judge dismisses suits claiming Trump violated emoluments clause
By Josh Gerstein | Politico | December 21, 2017

A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a pair of lawsuits claiming that President Donald Trump’s failure to divest himself of his real estate empire and other business holdings violated the Constitution’s provision banning receipt of foreign “emoluments” while in public office.

U.S. District Court Judge George Daniels ruled that the two suits were fatally flawed because the plaintiffs failed to show injury directly related to the use of Trump’s properties by foreign officials and governments.

APPARENTLY...Bill Priestap

A LOT of hope for those engaged in current speculation is credited to FBI Director of Counterintelligence, Bill Priestap. He was FBI Agent Peter Strozk’s direct boss.

Image

It is SPECULATED that he is "singing like a canary" and providing evidence against "Muh Russians" conspiracy and "The Trump Operation" that has been in effect to assist Hillary prior to the election, and damage Trump since the election.
It's not clear WHO Priestap is "singing" to? I guess it can only be the OIG... but as I keep saying... that involves only an INQUIRY.. and NOT a Criminal Investigation. Besides... it seems that the notion that Priestap is supplying evidence is mainly based on his ABSENCE in the various theories about who was colluding with who.. and who was paying. It is a bit TENUOUS, to say the least, to speculate that he has had a lot to say.. just based on the fact that his name has not been linked to others who are THOUGHT to be part of a "Vast Conspiracy" within Obama DOJ/FBI :roll

You had the BEST memes during the election. ;)

This must have been during the election because of the Carrier sign in the back. It was titled:

WHAT A STORM LOOKS LIKE WHEN YOU ARE THE STORM

Sessions rescinds Justice Dept. letter asking courts to be wary of stiff fines and fees for poor defendants
By Matt Zapotosky | The WaPo | December 21, 2017

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is rescinding an Obama-era Justice Department letter that asked local courts across the country to be wary of slapping poor defendants with fines and fees to fill their jurisdictions’ coffers, part of a broad rollback of guidance that Sessions believes overreached.

It’s the latest move in Sessions’s effort to dramatically reshape the Justice Department by undoing many of the reforms imposed by his predecessors and giving the institution a harder edge. Sessions is revoking 25 previous guidance documents dating back decades and covering topics as diverse as ATF procedures and the Americans With Disabilities Act.

In a statement, Sessions said he was ending “the long-standing abuse of issuing rules by simply publishing a letter or posting a web page.”

“Congress has provided for a regulatory process in statute, and we are going to follow it,” Sessions said. “This is good government and prevents confusing the public with improper and wrong advice.”
