OMG, Sue!

I hate those waterbugs too and that's what they look like to me.
And they are so fast... not as many bugs here in west Texas as there are in DFW.

Glad to hear from you and it is drying out where you are.
I am loving this sunshine :)

Every time I see a small snake, I wonder where the mama is. Same thing with baby spiders. :roll

The Brazos river close to where I live has finally gone below flood stage :26 :91 and south of here should drop below flood stage within the next few days.......................provided the predicted rains the end of the week/weekend are not widespread gully washers like the ones a few weeks ago that caused all this flooding. If they do, it should get interesting again. :LT :34

Mysterious Clumps of Worms Line Texas Highways

News Discover.com
By Benjamin Radford | June 4, 2015, 06:12PM

The deluge that flooded parts of Texas over the past week created a strange sight on a patch of the state’s highways: clumps of worms along the center line. Thousands of worms, initially mistaken for discarded spaghetti, were found in Eisenhower State Park in Denison, Texas.

An ABC News article explained, “The piles in the middle of Eisenhower State Park were actually worms, Park Superintendent Ben Herman told ABC News. Rangers were checking the back roads of the park in Denison, Texas, found on May 29 when they found the piles lined up in a near-perfect straight line. “We’re still puzzled why they decided to line up in the middle of the road,” Herman said. “Even our biologist doesn’t know why they’re spaced so well and in the line.”

MY WARNING: If you are skirmish, don't look :eek
Denison is 75 miles north of Dallas. Another 20 miles north and you are in Durant, OK.

Saw on the news this morning they're forecasting 1" - 3" (2.5cm to 7.5cm) of rain this weekend, I hope they're right and we don't end up with another stalled front that sucks up moisture from the gulf and dumps 12" - 15" (30cm - 37.5cm) like it did over the Memorial Day weekend.

Keeping my fingers crossed

Hi Londo :28

Stay safe! You're on my radar .. so to speak :)

Thinking about you, SeeingEye. Hoping for no more roof leaks!

Here is west Texas, I think we are going to stay HOT and dry. 60% chance it WON'T rain. ;)

I saw the following on the news this morning. I hope we don't see the training rains as the ground would not take much before the water runs off.

Thanks for the concern and well wishes.

I'm all prepared at this time, flooding at my house is not a concern as I'm not close to a river or bayou. I worry more about being at work in the Houston area and being cut off from returning home.

I can understand why you would be Londo, never seen Houston like that...just awful... so stay safe when you do go to work..

Luckily most of the heavy rain was to the west of me. I think Molly got some rain her way but not as bad as the Memorial day weekend rains.
