I thought the same thing.

With no children and estranged from his own family, he may have considered Marilou family.
It could also be one of many transfers he's made in the past and easily explainable. I hate to guess about stuff, there's enough of that at the other place, ;) but when you get half information here and there, it's just too easy.

Marilou Danley, the live-in girlfriend of Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock, and now a "person of interest" in the shooting investigation, is a Philippines native who has used two Social Security numbers during her two-plus decades in the United States, and was married to two men at the same time, public records show.

The person who may hold the key to solving the mystery of why the Vegas gunman killed 59 and wounded nearly 600 people led a convoluted life of her own, with two simultaneous husbands, a bankruptcy, two Social Security numbers, multiple addresses in several states and even different ages depending on which state records you review.

The details are part of a Newsweek investigation into Danley's past, which takes on a new urgency now that the FBI is frantically working to bring her "immediately" back from overseas for more information about the shooting and the $100,000 Paddock wired to her family there days before the shooting.

THE sisters of Marilou Danley said she was “sent away” by Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock so as not to interfere with his deadly plans.

Danley’s sisters, who chose to remain anonymous, told Channel 7, she was given a “cheap ticket” to the Philippines with no warning.

“I know that she doesn’t know anything as well like us,” said one of the women.

“She was sent away. She was away so that she will not be there to interfere with what he’s planning.”

They said the 62-year-old former Queenslander who moved to Las Vegas 20 years ago might be the last person who can “put the puzzles together” as to Paddock’s motives.

I am watching the Sheriff in LV give a press conference right now, 7:00 pm cst.
I have never seen a Sheriff give a more tortured and incoherent presser in
my life. No sleep could be the cause I am sure.

The FBI Special Agent-in-charge, Aaron Rouse, on the other hand could not have
sounded slicker or devoid of information if he tried.

Of course , just my opinion. And I guess I am just expecting everything to be
lies, so I am not happy with any of it.

Hey Showpoodles.... I caught just the end of it and agree with all you say.

I appreciate that Cops don't WANT to give out all info while the investigation is ongoing

I appreciate they don't KNOW some answers (yet)

But there is more in play during these pressers (I feel)


I just hope that "all will be revealed" later, but sadly I have lost faith that authorities do eventually reveal all.


The only NEW thing I learned from presser is the perp was planning to ESCAPE.
(Obviously he didn't plan that bit very well) :roll

What I got from Sheriff...
He does not know of an accomplice "suspect"... no "person of interest" but it makes sense that there likely HAD to be somebody(s) helping Paddock.. and so in effect the cops are LOOKING for an accomplice.

One of the things talked about on twitter is the EXTENSIVE security cameras set up in Las Vegas hotels and casinos. There has to be footage of paddock.. and maybe interactions with others. There is no mention that any footage even exists.... which in itself is unbelievable.
