THX Showpoodles I hear all witnesses say it sounded like fireworks... but it sure didnt sound like fireworks to me... it was too rapid and "sharper" sound than firecrackers. |

Sounds like they are getting some hoax calls but have to check them all. I heard when women were arrested. I don't think they are related (a guess). Lots of rumors on TV (of course) and on Twitter. Will take a while to get down to the nitty-gritty details. Still looking for that name for ya Showpoodles. |

If those people thought that sounded like firecrackers then they have very likely never been around any kind of gunfire. This is disgusting. I have never listened to police scanner while something was unfolding. Very surreal, even though you are not there. The police scanners in our area are scrambled?. You cannot pick up anything. Fox is reporting 2 deceased, but just from pictures that number will very likely be more. |

I have never been around gunfire... not automatic fire at all.. and very few single shots even.... but I have heard a LOT of firecrackers... and they dont sound like what was on the video.

Thanks, Rumpole for the update. It still sounds so chaotic on the scanner. Going to listen in bed, need to get up early tomorrow. Yes, I am seeing LOTS of tweets re gun control  and Trump. If y'all see a pic going around of someone/something on top of the concert stage roof (saying 30 sec into the shooting), I watched the whole video ... and it's helicopter lights. I'll catch up with y'all tomorrow. |
