I did a quick google.. see cost to keep thug in prison is US$168,000 per year. A thug like Brown may well go on to serve 30 - 40 years in the slammer ====> Cost $6 Million

Until a feral thug is put down there is potential to cost tax payers 5 or 6 million $ (just in prison accommodation). Add to that money and property damage cost he might cause.. and worse of all the injury, perhaps death of normal citizens.

I would say paying $1.5 million to put these thugs down at age 18 is a great deal.
