The PJW video is great! Learned a lot. I was in live chat, yesterday, with a group I know who were talking World Cup so I didn't stay long. From Western York, can only remember Bradford & Wakefield cities. About my age, all retired I think. They are all pulling for Belgium.  I almost asked why and I almost mentioned Tommy Robinson. Oh I remember another city, Leeds. SO the video explains things.

I hope England win... for Tommy's sake  Not that us Welsh usually root for England... but all the other teams are Foreigners  An England win would fire up the Brexit and FreeTommy crowd..... |

France and Belgium each won their matches to advance to meet in one of the 2 semi-finals. I will update the graphic screen-shot above after tomorrow's results

ENGLAND! --------------------- Russia V Croatia Live now.... 0 - 0 after 18 minutes HALF TIME: 1 - 1 This is the first game of Soccer I have watched in years  But... IMO Croatia are a class above Russia... but "soccer is a funny old game" and so Russia could scrape a win. That would be better for England to face the lesser team, Russia... it also would be great for the "Drinking all yer Vodka" chant  FULL TIME: 1 - 1 EXTRA TIME INTERVAL: 1 - 2 EXTRA TIME FINAL: 2 - 2 PENALTY SHOOT-OUT: 3 - 4 Croatia Win |
