Thanks that looks great... I do love classic movies... I am not sure if I have seen that?
But time I watched it again if I did.

Thanks...I've never seen it, but have wanted to. Anna Magnani won an Academy Award for her performance in it.

Not sure anyone is down with animated films, but this one is beautiful, but might be a little melancholy along the line of the Grave of the Fireflies without all that pesky death.

Hi thehoff71. I clicked on the links under your sig pic. Are you the author of those blogs? (The HHGTTG fan? :35)

I love all genres of movies, but I'm not very familiar with anime and have never seen a full length anime movie! Any recommendations for my first?

Both are mine yes.

Recommending anime films can be hard. It really depends on the kind of films you like. If you're into Disneyesque animation: Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke are a good start. If you're a sci-fi fan: Akira or Ghost in the Shell are excellent.

Me personally, I like the artsy ones like I posted above. The detail in the animation is phenomenal.
