Welsh Group, Manic Street Preachers released a cover version of "Suicide Is Painless" in 1992. In the UK it was a double A-side charity single (to help The Spastics Society)

A hauntingly beautiful piece of cinema...enhanced of course because of the equally haunting choice of music. Bravo!!!

As you can see, my musical interests often graze into the lesser known. Another absolute favourite of mine is the song used in the opening of the film "Ghost World" starring Steve Buscemi:

I can't resist...just one more. For the record, I am never interested in thing like "post counts" so someone else can feel free to take my numbers. I'll tend to post in waves, then be quiet for a while, and then come back with a wave of posts again. All apologies in advance. :)

I love Kevin Spacey. I love Kate Bosworth. And I REALLY love Sandra Dee. So this was a winner for me all around:

I love the movie "French Kiss" . . .

. . . and, for some strange reason, Kevin Kline's version of one of my :89 favorite French songs.

I don't think that's strange Figg.

I love French Kiss (and Green Card)! I also love French films.

Hi MM

What I meant is he sings slightly off=key . . . I enjoy his version . . . . anyway. :70

Gerard Depardieu !!!

I'm looking for another French song I like . . . very quirky. Can't remember the singer's name. :11
