At first glance I read ..... "Bad news......McCartney back touring 2016" I think MY headline is BETTER. I was huge Beatles/McCartney fan.. still love the music, but..... Sir Paul is WAY past his live performance Use-by date and has been for some time. Past it and going for a second lap? |

I know Rumpole ... sorta very sad. BUT, if Paul is not ready to stop, you can't blame him for thinking he is not done. If he comes to Dallas, I would want to go. Hopefully the audience would be my generation, unlike when I went to see the Auqabats.  Really would like to know who opens for him, if he does do a tour in 2016. I mean, look at Leonard Cohen. His "late in life" performances are awesome, right? |

British Music Awards (aka The "Shit" Awards) I have the Brit Shit awards on TV... delayed broadcast. Hate to "show my age" but it is total crap from go to whoa  The ceremony is crap.. as award ceremonies are... but NOT ONE snip of a song has appealed to me. I did see praise of Lorde's tribute to David Bowie.. so found a clip of that to get a sneak preview... that was crap as well... NZ singer not withstanding.  And I DON'T think I am showing my age... I am showing discerning taste in music....I can find good recent music.. there are current bands etc that I am a fan of... just not the crap included in the "Shit Awards"
