Well... she did build a house here... there was a bit of controversy about a bit of it being too tall? And local environment morons and planning authorities etc.... all resolved I think, so I assume Shania lives here at least some of the time? I must pop in and say "Howdy!" :cool

I did not know Shania Twain once lived in NZ. Made me look and found this I also didn't know.

Phil Collins has announced he is no longer in retirement and is plotting a comeback following a 13-year break from making music.

The 64-year-old English singer is set to record his first new material since 2002’s Testify and is also planning a tour.

"I'm no longer officially retired," he told Rolling Stone magazine. "The horse is out of the stable and I'm raring to go."

On his motivation for making a comeback:
"My kids are now 10 and 14 and they want to see what their dad does.
"They were in nappies when I was last on the road. They love my music and I'd like to take them out so they can enjoy it."

On touring:
"I don't think I want a very long tour.
"But I would like to play the stadiums in Australia and the Far East, and that's the only way to do that. But there's a part of me that just wants to do theatres, so we'll see."
