EXTREMELY RARE ** Demis Roussos in "Aphrodite's Child" - Live in Lille, 1968.

This is the extremely rare Live concert in Lille, France, that the band "Aphrodite's Child" performed in 1968. The video images are again being launched in the market of DVDs, to the delight of fans of this band, integrated by Demis Roussos (vocals and bass), Vangelis (keyboards and percussion) and Lucas Sideras (drums).
In the sequence we listen to:
1. "It's you" (with highlights to Sideras giving a particular show at the drums).
2. "End of the world".
3. "Valley of sadness".
4. "This is a man's world" (perfect partnership with Demis and Vangelis; one given amazing vocals to the song originally performed by James Brown, and the second, performing an instrumental magnifico in the accompaniment).
5. "You always stand in my way".
6. "Mister Thomas".
7. "Rain and tears".
8. "Got to fool".
All interpretations in fact are unique in this concert. Enjoy it.

Quote:
Yes, for a long time now, have been a fluid entity.

Over their 50-year history, band members have come and gone with almost alarming regularity. It's no surprise that, as of September of 2018, there are two versions of Yes on the road. Guitarist Steve Howe and drummer Alan White hold down one version, but the heart and soul of the band remains with founder and singer Jon Anderson, who, along with guitarist Trevor Rabin and keyboardist Rick Wakeman, has been leading another lineup since 2016.

I was always a FAN of Rick Wakeman... more so as he aged he became "an angry old man" like myself... good to see/hear him back on keyboards. :)

And Jon Anderson's voice is key to the Yes sound
