Hungary to the rescue?......

Brexit plot: Hungary to veto extension? Boris Johnson's secret ally exposed
By Katie Weston
PUBLISHED: 00:01, Sat, Oct 5, 2019 | UPDATED: 08:27, Sat, Oct 5, 2019

PRIME MINISTER Boris Johnson was in the same building as a Hungarian Minister and Hungarian ambassador when he claimed to be holding an “emergency” Cabinet meeting on Friday morning.

I hope Hungary do this veto ... if clown world persist.... but it seems unlikely... liberals will be "outraged" of course... talk about collusion .. Hungary-gate? LOL

It would be GREAT.. if Hungary took a stand on principle and/or acted to help Boris and the UK government, but...
I do understand that Hungary can not simply "virtue signal" at the expense of their own nation's economy and people's best interests. Hungary are bound by EU rules themselves and have unavoidable financial ties and commitments. I do not know how much Hungary can avoid if EU decide to RETALIATE? EU are vindictive bastids... we know this already. No doubt UK can offer incentives to Hungary? But not sure if that would match downside from EU nastiness??
I do see on twitter that Hungary will get a HUGE boost in respect from normal UK (and international) citizens... some sort of boost to the Hungary "brand"... sale of goods, tourism etc. Hungary will be hailed as heroes of the cause of FREEDOM! :)

Note that EU (especially small countries) rely on NETT 1 Billion pounds per month from UK (taxpayers). EU has taken upon itself a Judicial oversight above UK law. The EU has taken upon itself ownership of UK assets (such as fishing resources etc) EU leaders are open about plans to exert even MORE power. For instance, an "EU army" is already being formed. Senior EU leaders are talking of building an EU EMPIRE. The comparison with previous attempts "take control of all of Europe (and beyond) by FORCE is valid.
The EU is at best PRETENDING to be negotiating to facilitate UK leaving. There is no such thing as a "Brexit deal". Leave means leave is true. These so called "deals", are all "REMAIN DEALS"....really new treaties which keep UK under EU control (to a greater or lesser extent) and impose "Transition periods" ... of YEARS... and with provision to extend for more years. They are WORSE that present EU membership, since they remove UK from even taking part in ongoing EU decisions/laws... and there is no "escape clause" (like Article 50) at all. It is a "forever deal"

Boris Johnson ready to defy Brexit sabotage as he prepares audacious new no deal plan
BORIS JOHNSON is prepared to take legal action in an attempt to ensure the UK leaves the EU with no deal this month
By Joel Day
PUBLISHED: 00:01, Mon, Oct 7, 2019 | UPDATED: 09:38, Mon, Oct 7, 201

The Prime Minister is reportedly willing to take his Brexit battle all the way to the Supreme Court in order to avoid asking for an extension to Article 50. The move would allow Mr Johnson to avoid having to write a letter asking as set out in the Benn Act recently passed by MPs recently.

Several senior Government sources told The Daily Telegraph that the Prime Minister was more than willing to go to the Supreme Court to fight his case despite the Benn bill.

Extinction Rebellion....

IF these people are even remotely serious... they should be "walking the walk"..... living the sort of "zero carbon" life they demand for the world generally.

Seriously... they have financial backing.. they could run an extended area however they want. No fossil fuels.. no diesel or petrol cars... no air flights... all electric? Electric cars?? I do see "issues" from the outset since a lot of the technology they would turn to to run carbon-free now... actually depends on carbon usage in its manufacture. For instance... wind turbines and solar panels, batteries are dependent on a LOT of specialist materials... plastics and metals etc. All of the "electric" stuff does require COPPER WIRE.. and copper wire relies on mining minerals, and furnaces etc.... all require lots of ENERGY from coal/fossil fuels etc.
I assume these people KNOW that burning wood etc is just as bad as fossil fuel as far as CO2 goes... in fact likely WORSE, with lots of other gases and particulates spewed into the atmosphere... and so they are suggesting reverting to lifestyle as it was in EARLY STONE-AGE... before the use of FIRE!!!

USA Diplomatic Immunity waver?

I think USA (Trump) is correct to NOT wave diplomatic immunity and send the woman (who drove on wrong side of the road and killed a motor cyclist) back to UK to face "UK Justice"
The Justice system in UK has shown itself to be corrupt and biased.. not fit for purpose. Whatever the circumstances of an alleged "crime" the US should not abandon it's citizens to countries who openly run kangaroo Courts.. Drum-head trials with imposition of severe punishment and torture (ref Tommy Robinson trial(s)). A judicial system that goes after "hurty words" alleged "hate crimes" while ignoring evidence of rape and abuse of children

Amnesty for veterans 'won't be in Queen's speech'

Image

A former Army chief has expressed dismay that legislation to protect veterans from prosecution will not feature in this Queen's Speech.

Boris Johnson has previously pledged to end the pursuit of soldiers over historical allegations in Northern Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Lord Dannatt said he was "very disappointed" that soldiers might be punished for "doing their duty".

A government source said the PM is committed to legislating on the issue.

"The PM has been clear that we need to end the unfair trials of people who served their country when no new evidence has been produced and when the accusations have already been exhaustively questioned in court," the source said.

The need for "a deal" was not mentioned in the lead-up to the referendum. We all KNEW what we were voting for... to LEAVE!! This "Deal" nonsense was invented by remoaners to delay/ stop leaving. And it's worked.

It is RIDICULOUS that after more than 3 years the politicians are delaying Brexit with need for a DEAL used as an excuse!! In the words of the God Emperor, Trump. This is Bullsh*t
