The Brexit Messiah
Catherine Blaiklock, 21st September 2019

I am at a ‘Turning Point UK’ dinner attended by several hundred people. Nigel Farage, bursting with smiles, handshakes and energy, enters the high ceilinged ballroom with its massive chandeliers, and the crowd parts like the Red Sea. Even though he is physically not particularly large, his presence is electrifying. Everyone wants to shake his hand. Everyone craves a few words. The Messiah has arrived.

Few people have this type of presence. Clinton had it, de Gaulle, but not Mrs Thatcher. The Queen’s office has it, but Elizabeth Windsor, the retiring, modest person who fills it, does not. Jordan Peterson has it, so did Einstein, Martin Luther King, Churchill and Mahatma Ghandi.

SHOW FLAKE Snowflake police will no longer release photos of seized knives in case they scare the public
Patrick Gysin, 20 Sep 2019

Image

SNOWFLAKE coppers are no longer releasing photos of knives handed in during amnesties — in case they scare the public.

The barmy ban has already been brought in by two forces, with more expected to follow.

But it has sparked an outcry on social media from the people it is meant to “protect”.

Dave, from Kidlington, Oxon, wrote: “Maybe they should show pictures of cute woodland animals.

“Or something so everyone can imagine the world is just lovely.”

While another critic posted: “Snowflakes 1, common sense 0.”

The ruling by Thames Valley and Surrey forces comes during a week-long nationwide amnesty.

The drive is aimed at ridding the streets of blades amid a knife-crime epidemic.

'PATHETIC'

I know the terms COMMUNIST and MARXIST get bandied about... but It is very accurate in regards UK Labour party...
TAKING private property and Redistributing it is clear enough :roll

Labour pledges to abolish private schools after vote at conference
Party vows to take control of ‘endowments, investments and properties’

Sebastian Payne in Brighton 8 hours ago

Labour has pledged to abolish all independent schools in the UK if it wins the next general election, following a motion passed by delegates at its annual conference on Sunday.

The opposition party has resolved to include a commitment in its next election manifesto to “integrate all private schools into the state sector”. This would be achieved by withdrawing charitable status, tax exemptions — including business rates — and all other public subsidies from private institutions.

A future Labour government would seek to implement the policy by initially ensuring that the proportion of students admitted to universities from private schools did not exceed their share of the overall school population, which currently stands at 7 per cent.

The party has also pledged to take control of “endowments, investments and properties held by private schools” and ensure they are redistributed “democratically and fairly across the country’s educational institutions”.

As usual Communists do not think things through.

IF they got their dream and all private schools were gone (absorbed with all the other schools run by the Department of Education). The taxpayer would foot the bill for supplying and running all those extra schools ... presumably paying the high wage teachers... or losing them and finding replacements (likely trending towards being crap teachers). Even done badly this would require MORE expenditure by Education Department... to make up for private fees previously paid by parents. In effect the taxpayer would have a HUGE increase in payments to provide schooling for rich kids? Rich kids who were previously paying for their own education. And the Standard of education would be MUCH lower. That seems nuts to me?
And of course... those really well off will manage to purchase better education still.

Boris continues to "Troll" Remoaners in Parliament.

They keep asking the same questions different ways... trying to get him to PROMISE he will ask for extension... Boris always says he will NOT break the law... but also he will NOT ask for an extension. It drives the Remoaners NUTS.. because he does not explain how both statements can be true :)

Question in the house today....
“If he doesn’t get a deal through this House, or a no-deal through this House by the 19th of October, will he seek an extension from the European Union to the 31st of January,” he was asked in parliament.

“No,” Johnson replied. He had previously said the government would respect and the law, and leave on Oct. 31.

Do you think Boris is "trolling" the remoaners in Parliament? :)
They asked Boris in person, multiple times, and then next day spent an hour+ on an "urgent question". Asking same thing over and over "will he seek an extension" if (when) the Surrender Act is triggered. Boris says "NO!"
Boris keeps saying he wont break the law, but he will not seek an extension :) And it drives the opposition NUTS!
There is a solution... the opposition are unable to see what it is.

Spoiler:
It seems obvious to me that the solution to this "conundrum" is that The Law that will apply is NOT THE SURRENDER ACT, but rather the law that sets Article 50 date at 31st October... either UK law or perhaps even EU law.
I assume that Boris has proper legal opinion to this effect.

Boris not in Parliament today (yet)...

But his Troll carries on through a Minister answering on his behalf....

The first question raised is AGAIN try to reconcile Boris's position.. "Will obey the law... Will not seek an extension"

Again they keep asking the same question... hoping for a different answer :lol

IMO the "answer is obvious"... Boris will obey the law... but the law is NOT what the remoaners think it is.... the Surrender Act is open to interpretation (as all laws are) and OTHER laws may well take precedence :)

It could well be that Boris has a Cunning Plan... He is certainly trolling Remoaners in Parliament by refusing to explain how he can not get a deal as well as not ask for an extension as required by the surrender Act. The conclusion is that the Benn Act is flawed and other law will have precedence... but........ It could just be that Boris (Cummings) is playing high stakes Poker... BLUFFING!!

REMOANERS... still triggered... :slap
They can not work out what Boris's cunning plan is.... but they are convinced that Dominic Cummins has a dastardly plan... so to be SAFE they are now thinking they have to get rid of Boris.. and the Tory government.. and take over Parliament themselves... to assure the SURRENDER to EU gets done.....

Johnson could face no-confidence vote next week to halt no-deal Brexit

SNP’s Stewart Hosie says opposition must unite and that Corbyn must get first chance to be PM

There could be a vote of no confidence in the government next week in order to remove Boris Johnson as prime minister and secure a Brexit date extension, a senior Scottish National party MP has said.

Following talks between opposition party leaders at Westminster, Stewart Hosie said the move appeared to be the only way of ensuring Johnson did not push through a no-deal Brexit on 31 October.

“We have to do that because there is now no confidence that the prime minister will obey the law and seek the extension that parliament voted for only a few weeks ago,” he told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.

“If we are serious about the extension, that is the only game in town.”

When Brexit is Done... I hope there are Queen's HONOURS awarded to Dominic Cummings....

Image

Firstly he was KEY in devising the strategy (Cunning Plan) that promoted the LEAVE Campaign.. and won the referendum

Secondly he is said to be the MASTERMIND behind Boris now... cunning plan to actually get a CLEAN BREXIT

Thirdly, his biggest achievement is TRIGGERING Remoaners :lol
