3 Mexicans shot by a white man in Texas, says BBC.
No mention in initial reports of the 17 other (Americans) killed...
.. no disclaimer that this was a "white man", but not all white-men should be blamed (as with Muslims) :lol

PURR-IME MINISTER Downing Street’s chief mouser Larry the cat has survived Boris Johnson’s Cabinet cull

Larry on the steps of No10 after confirmation he'd continue in his current role

DOWNING Street’s chief mouser Larry the cat survived the Cabinet cull last night.

No10 aides confirmed the pet – who moved into Downing Street in 2011 with David Cameron – will stay on with Boris Johnson.

While Larry has landed on his feet, other No10 cats have not survived the handover of power.

Cherie Blair kicked cat Humphrey out when she moved in in 1997 – sparking rumours she had the pet put down.

Tony Blair’s official spokesman had to deny the claim - branding it a “vile slur”.

Larry, a brown and white tabby, has become a celeb since he moved into Downing Street.

But he has had plenty of scrapes with his rival, Foreign Office cat Palmerston, during his time in the heart of power.

The NEC of UKIP have poured petrol on their leaders and then set the house on fire, sadly the new leader has given them a box of matches to play with instead of covering them with asbestos! Time to put out the fire Richard or UKIP is toast!

Since Tommy and all of us are labeled as "Far Right"... regardless of the truth... why not at least embrace the right?

Ukip was/is a centrist party and yet it is labelled as Far Right because Gerard Batten spoke the truth about Islam and Tommy etc. It seems UKIP (and Braine) is out to appease the Fake News/ mainstream and so become "LibDem lite" as Richard Inman has said...
So why not embrace "The Right". Not the far right jew haters/racists, but certainly parties like "For Britain" and Ann Marie Waters. People like Jayda Fransen, Paul Golding, Paul Weston and others

Parliament to be suspended in September

Parliament will be suspended just days after MPs return to work in September - and only a few weeks before the Brexit deadline.

Boris Johnson said a Queen's Speech would take place after the suspension, on 14 October, to outline his "very exciting agenda".

But it means the time MPs have to pass laws to stop a no-deal Brexit on 31 October would be cut.

House of Commons Speaker John Bercow said it was a "constitutional outrage".

The Speaker, who does not traditionally comment on political announcements, continued: "However it is dressed up, it is blindingly obvious that the purpose of [suspending Parliament] now would be to stop [MPs] debating Brexit and performing its duty in shaping a course for the country."

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said: "Suspending Parliament is not acceptable, it is not on. What the prime minister is doing is a smash and grab on our democracy to force through a no deal," he said.

He said when MPs return to the Commons next Tuesday, "the first thing we'll do is attempt legislation to prevent what [the PM] is doing", followed by a vote of no confidence "at some point".

GERARD BATTEN: Richard Braine & UKIP Members Must Stand Up To The NEC
by Gerard Batten · 10:59 pm, August 25, 2019

UKIP is going through one of its periodic crises. This one could be fatal if it isn’t resolved soon. The heart of the current problem is that the NEC is out of touch with the membership and it is putting itself in opposition to Richard Braine who was elected on a clear mandate.

The Chairman and the NEC are preventing Richard installing his choice of Chairman, Liz Phillips. He has also been prevented from appointing me as his Deputy Leader.

Let me say, I have no personal desire to be Deputy Leader and agreed to Richard’s invitation in order to concentrate on membership recruitment, raising funds, and developing policy, three things at least I was good at as Leader.

You all know that the NEC prevented me from standing in the Leadership contest. I was prepared to run again to save the Party from what looked like its rapid decline.

However, the NEC declared that I had brought the Party into “disrepute” and that I am a member “not in good standing”. This is a gross and grievous insult. Without my efforts over sixteen months there would have been no Party, and all my political decisions were made in good faith. If I had ‘brought the Party into disrepute’ why did the NEC approve me as the lead candidate in London in the Euro elections?

The NEC are either showing phenomenal incompetence or their strings are being pulled from outside by those who want to see UKIP disappear. There are no prizes for guessing whose fingerprints are all over this.

If UKIP disappears then there will be no radical opposition to the Westminster parties. If Boris achieves Brexit, even a cosmetic one, the Brexit Party ‘supporters’ will flood back to the Tory party, and it will disappear. Neither they nor Mr Farage want a real radical political movement. They are all old Tories at heart.

Nigel Farage makes a GREAT point...

As pointed out by Ruth Davidson in her resignation speech as leader of Scottish Conservatives..
Boris has indicated to her that he is determined to get a deal. The POINT of this prorogation is being MISSED by all the media and the remoaners. The point of it is to close the current session of Parliament and open a new one (with a Queen's speech) which means that "May's Deal" (only slightly edited) can be put again. Bercow et al already stretched the rules to vote on May's deal a second, let alone a third time. The only way it could be presented again now is in a NEW session of Parliament.
Farage WARNS to beware of Boris pushing a vote on a deal... which will be essentially May's deal with a bit of fudging on the "Backstop" issue.
