“Jeffrey David Cox (in Google, real name just David Cox) is the head of Federal Prison Guards in Manhattan. Jeffery is the boss of the guards who were supposed to keep Jeffery Epstein alive while in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. He also is friends with Bill and Hillary Clinton. This is such a small world…”

Multiple sheets, an electrical cord, prescription medication and a handwritten note were reportedly found in Jeffrey Epstein's New York jail cell after the millionaire pedophile killed himself.

The new details about what was found in the disgraced financier's cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan last August are part of a 60 Minutes investigation set to air on Sunday.

The circumstances surrounding Epstein's death continue to raise questions about protocol at the federal prison, including how the high-profile inmate was allowed to have such items in his cell.

Multiple bed sheets - enough for several inmates - were found in Epstein's cell despite a previous suicide attempt just a few weeks earlier.

There was also a pen, paper and a handwritten note discovered in his cell.

When his body was eventually discovered by prison guards, Epstein's fellow inmates could be heard shouting 'breathe, Epstein, breathe' as officers tried to revive him, 60 Minutes reports.

Jeffrey Epstein's autopsy: A closer look

60 Minutes has obtained the photographs from inside the convicted sex offender's cell and during his autopsy. They shed new light on —and possibly raise more questions about — his death.

Photos 60 Minutes reviewed also show an injury to the back of his neck, a cut on his lip, and an injection mark in his arm, though it is unknown whether the latter injuries happened during an attempt to resuscitate Epstein at the hospital.

Ghislaine Maxwell is denied bail as judge says risks of fleeing 'are simply too great'
By Erica Orden, CNN
Updated 2150 GMT (0550 HKT) July 14, 2020

New York (CNN)A federal judge Tuesday ordered Ghislaine Maxwell jailed pending trial, saying the significant financial resources, international ties and "extraordinary capacity to avoid detection" of the one-time girlfriend and alleged accomplice of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein made her a flight risk.
At a court proceeding, Maxwell, 58, pleaded not guilty to charges by New York federal prosecutors that she helped recruit, groom and ultimately sexually abuse minors as young as 14.
The British socialite, whom prosecutors have described as having been "in hiding" since Epstein's arrest last summer, participated in the hearing by videoconference from a federal jail in Brooklyn, providing the public its first glimpse of her in more than a year.
[...]
The judge scheduled Maxwell's trial to begin on July 12, 2021. Prosecutors said they expect the trial to take about three weeks.

Maxwell lawyers look to keep ‘highly confidential’ evidence from going public
By Ben Feuerherd
July 27, 2020

Defense attorneys for alleged Jeffrey Epstein madam Ghislaine Maxwell want to hide from the public sensitive evidence ahead of her trial — including any nude photos and sexualized videos that will be marked “highly confidential,” according to court documents.

In a proposed protective order filed Monday, Maxwell’s attorneys detailed the discovery materials they believe should be kept out of public view and filed under seal in the Manhattan federal court case.

This included the “highly confidential” information, which they said should not be “disseminated, transmitted, or otherwise copied.”

“Highly Confidential Information contains nude, partially-nude, or otherwise sexualized images, videos, or other depictions of individuals,” the court papers state.

Newly unsealed documents describe Ghislaine Maxwell's abuse of one of Epstein's alleged victims
By Sarah Jorgensen, Lauren del Valle, Brian Vitagliano and Sonia Moghe, CNN
Updated 1157 GMT (1957 HKT) July 31, 2020

(CNN)Virginia Giuffre, an alleged victim of Jeffrey Epstein, describes the psychological toll of Epstein's abuse in portions of a newly released deposition from May 3, 2016.
Giuffre has previously described being recruited by Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's onetime girlfriend who has been described as a "recruiter" for Epstein's purported sex trafficking ring, as a teenager, and has alleged she was instructed by Maxwell to have sex with numerous men including Prince Andrew.

In her deposition, Giuffre is pressed by attorneys to provide additional names of men who Maxwell "directed her" to have sex with. The attorney conducting the interview names several, including Prince Andrew, former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, and an individual described as "another prince," and another individual described as "the large hotel chain owner."

"Look, I've given you what I know right now," Giuffre said in response. "I'm sorry. This is very hard for me and very frustrating to have to go over this. I don't -- I don't recall all of the people. There was a large amount of people that I was sent to."
In the court filings, Maxwell and her attorney portray Giuffre as an unreliable narrator, pointing to errors in certain dates and figures she provided.
Giuffre acknowledges in the deposition she was paid for the photo of herself with Prince Andrew that has been published in numerous media outlets.
