This "Big Ugly" that many cult followers are sure is coming... (soon)...

I would genuinely like to hear WHO they think is most likely.. the first person that will be indicted... for anti-Trump plotting and crimes and spying etc.

Then approximately HOW BIG do they think this "Ugly" will be? Just 1 or 2 people as a token? I think it would have to be 5 or 6 minimum... and should really be many more than that...

I would like people to name a short list of a few people who most likely will be indicted.

My thought is that there wont be any indictments. I don't think "our side" can do what the the Deep-State Mueller side did...Go after junior staff... mostly with CREATED process crimes. That is so abhorrent as to be NOT A THING that I would expect proper investigators/Prosecutors would do.... EVEN NOW with it having been done by the Anti-Trumps.. going after Papadopoulos, Carter Page, Roger Stone.. etc etc.
Besides... if there were GENUINE indictments for real crimes (not just process crimes created along the way) then I would expect the low level staff to implicate the real crooks above them, and that in turn would cause a "chain reaction" implicating lots of the many names we know were involved... and so on up the chain... maybe even to Obama. "They" simply wont let that happen.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper has fired Navy Secretary Richard Spencer, a Pentagon spokesman confirmed on Sunday.

"Secretary of Defense Mark T. Esper has asked for the resignation of Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer after losing trust and confidence in him regarding his lack of candor over conversations with the White House involving the handling of Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher," Chief Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman said in a statement.

The Washington Post first reported that Esper asked Spencer to step down after learning that Spencer promised White House officials that Navy SEAL Chief Eddie Gallagher would retire with his SEAL trident if they did not interfere with his review board.

I have been thinking about "Life, The Universe and everything..... "

Seriously.... there are a LOT of things that are frustrating, to say the least. Matters that do not get resolved, or even investigated properly. Maybe not even "talked about" by people who should be "concerned". The term "Cognitive Dissonance" is MUCH overused these days.. and usually incorrectly.. but there is Cognitive Dissonance arising from such matters that needs to be resolved.. to restore "Peace of Mind"

These matters are resolved in my mind by accepting that "Pragmatism" is involved. I am talking about all manner of things... UK politics, world events generally....life, the universe and everything.... but the easiest example to outline IS US politics. For instance, Even though there is evidence of corruption, espionage, etc aimed at thwarting Trump and his administration... realistically locking up the perpetrators would have to include many (most?) of the political establishment... there would be trouble... civil unrest.. civil war even. I think Trump was prepared to let a lot of the criminals "off the hook". He said as much in regards Obama, Hillary etc. around time of his inauguration. They did NOT seem to accept the offer, and kept up their "Coup" efforts.. and so Trump pushed back for a time, but my guess is that now even TRUMP has grasped the full reality of all this, and so is again NOT hell-bent on seeing all the bad actors locked up. The upshot of all this is I DO NOT think that Trump will be "releasing documents" or pushing to see "Crooked Hillary" locked up, or the Obama deep State pursued fully etc etc. It would simply cause too much of an upheaval. From the little I know, I understand that.. and of course Trump is privy to infinitely more info than me (and all the Blogger Gurus, and chat room larpers).

As another example... Neither do I believe that Boris Johnson wants a real BREXIT. If UK were to leave EU properly... the EU would collapse. The Euro-experiment, for all it's faults, is what has filled the "vacuum" of European bickering (and war) since WW2. I think even Europe has made some progress since WW2... individual Nations now could thrive... but even so, there would be a period of chaos if the "Euro-experiment" ended now.

For the sake of "Peace of Mind" I think a REALITY CHECK is needed.

Brexit is the same as "The Big Ugly".

People who claim to be "in the know" promise it and write about it.. and have done since 2016... but it has not happened.. and it never will. There is a LOT of people pushing fantasy notions (for clicks).
There is NO WAY that the real crimes of espionage, sedition, treason etc in Washington will EVER be pursued. That would result in indictments for a large chunk of Washington establishment..

In same way there is little chance of UK actually leaving (abandoning) the EU. That would cause the collapse of EU.. and recession in many individual European Nations

This Climate hoax is almost out of control. I think a BIG PLUS for the world was Trump's election in 2016... else the Climate Hoax would be just accepted as real. It just about is. NZ was lost many years ago. Europe is lost.. even UK is lost. I think UK was first nation to actually pass a bill Declaring a "Climate Crisis" certainly all the Political parties in the UK election are BRAGGING about plans to spend billions on climate nonsense .. and destroy Industrial activity in the process.

Credit where credit is due... Sundance makes an excellent point...

The "game" played out in the Senate is NOT in having control power with a (small) majority.
eg at the moment Mitch McConnell with 53R to 47D+I
The game is in the "buying and selling" of 8 or 9 votes when legislation requires a 2/3 majority.
Sundance's thesis is that actually McConnell, (rather than purchasing), is better suited as "Minority Leader", SELLING votes,... gaining rewards (financial) for himself in the process. He is not so good at being the buyer (whereas Schumer is)
So... the upshot is.. the McConnell is NOT overly worried that any actions he is involved cause the Republicans to "lose the Senate" in a future election.

At the moment McConnell needs to set the rules and conditions for "Trump Impeachment" trial in the Senate.
It may not be as "Trump friendly" as Trump supporters want (and expect)
