I don't have any more views on the NYT website. New Jersey: https://www.politico.com/election-results/2018/new-jersey/ Sen. Bob Menendez wins the Democrat Primary and will run against Bob Hugin, the Republican former drug CEO spending millions to unseat Menendez in the blue state. I refreshed my memory on Menendez's scandalous trial. Judge declared a mistrial and DA dropped the federal charges. But I found this: In April 2018, Menendez was "severely admonished" by the United States Senate Select Committee on Ethics in a letter. Well, there ya go. --------------------- Alabama: https://www.politico.com/election-results/2018/alabama/ California https://www.politico.com/election-results/2018/california/ (the one to watch) Breaking: California is hopeless. Iowa https://www.politico.com/election-results/2018/iowa/ Mississippi https://www.politico.com/election-results/2018/mississippi/ Montana https://www.politico.com/election-results/2018/montana/ AP Politics is trying to stay relevant tonight (the link on twitter bio doesn't even work)… this is their latest breaking news tweet: BREAKING: U.S. Sen. Jon Tester wins the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate and U.S. Rep. Greg Gianforte wins the Republican nomination for U.S. House after both ran unopposed in Montana. New Mexico https://www.politico.com/election-results/2018/new-mexico/ South Dakota https://www.politico.com/election-results/2018/south-dakota/ I'm done. These primaries bore me. |

Hope springs eternal... but in reality there is little chance of Romney losing.... he has a 43 point lead UTAH polls close 8:00pm MT (10:00pm ET) http://utahpolicy.com/index.php/feature ... imary-race Keep in mind that Utahians were CRAP in the 2016 Presidential Primaries... they picked not only Cruz, but also Kasich ahead of Trump... leaving Trump in third place. That indicates to me that the majority of Utah voters are as delusional as John Kasich.... |

Texas 27th District Special Election Today: Overview & Results June 30, 2018 A special election to fill one of seven current Congressional vacancies. It is in Texas' 27th Congressional District. The seat became vacant in April when former Rep. Blake Farenthold resigned while under investigation by the House Ethics Committee. The winner of the election will serve the remainder of Farenthold's term. However, with 9 candidates on the ballot - there was no primary - nobody is likely to achieve a majority of the vote. Under Texas law, the top two finishers would then move on to a runoff, most likely in September. Polls closed at 7:00 PM Central Time (8:00 Eastern) CALLED - No Run off Texas has already held their 2018 midterm primaries. Michael Cloud won the Republican nomination, while Eric Holguin won the Democratic nomination. Regardless of who wins the seat in this special election (or subsequent runoff), those two plus Libertarian Daniel Tinus will be the only three of today's nine candidates also on the November ballot. https://www.270towin.com/news/2018/06/3 ... zhmBbh9jcs |

John McCain To Resign Senate Seat on the 4th of July, Says Aide. Cindy McCain Offered his Seat Former Republican Nominee for President wants to avoid a defeat for Trump's SCOTUS nominee By Stan Greene Observer Staff Writer July 1, 2018 Senator John McCain will resign his US Senate seat on July 4, 2018, says an aide who asked not to be named because he was not authorized to speak to the press. "In the end, it was about Kennedy resigning from the Supreme Court," said the aide. "Confirming a (SCOTUS) replacement before the election is considered in the interest of the national Republican party, so that it doesn't become an issue for Dems to run on in every race," said the aide, meaning every race for Senate or Congress. The Aide indicated that the Senator wanted to wait until June 1 to resign, so that his seat would not be on the ballot along with retiring Jeff Flake. Republican Gov. Doug Ducey will appoint a Senator to serve until the 2020 election. The aide said that Ducey has quietly offered McCain's seat to Cindy, but the 64 year old wife of Senator John McCain has made no decision as of yet. "Understandably, she doesn't want to think about it," he added. ...more at link http://www.smobserved.com/story/2018/07 ... /3517.html |

Great news to see him GONE from the Senate. If for no other reason than to stop people wishing him dead, as the only way to remove his evil corrupt influence from the nation’s administration. As “not a Senator” I hope he (and his friends and family) sees out his remaining days in peace. He is likely guilty of crimes… but at this stage it would be a waste of time and effort to try him, let alone lock him up. At this stage…. “What difference does it make” ---------------------- Filling Vacancies in the US Senate https://www.thoughtco.com/how-are-senat ... ed-3368245 Republican Gov. Doug Ducey will appoint a Senator to serve until the 2020 election. This Gov Ducey needs to be REMINDED about how scarce Republican Senate seats are, and that TRUE TRUMP SUPPORTER SENATORS are as rare as rocking horse poop! FORGET any thoughts of "sympathy" for McCains family.... especially his wife. They should anyway be BUSY tending to McCain as his health declines. |

Primaries - August 7 Follow results at NY Times https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/201 ... sults.html ---------- Quote: Voters in Ohio’s 12th District are choosing a replacement for Representative Pat Tiberi, a Republican who resigned to work for a business group. The candidates are Troy Balderson, a Republican endorsed last week by Mr. Trump, and Danny O’Connor, a Democrat. If the left and their media poodles INSIST on claiming EVERYTHING is a "Referendum on Trump", lets hope Trump wins |
