The person(s) who apparently started that rumor claims to have obtained the info from PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records). Apparently he/she doesn’t understand PACER. Not all sealed court documents are in PACER, and not every sealed criminal case file that is in PACER is an indictment. Many of those sealed criminal cases were/are not indictments. Sealing indictments is routine, done mostly in cases in which the subject of the indictment doesn’t know they’re under investigation &/or about to be arrested. Also- Search warrants can be sealed & applications/court orders for Title III electronic intercepts (tap phones or log calls coming to or from a phone (“pen registers”/ trap & trace), obtain vehicle tracking devices, read email accounts, etc are almost always sealed. If there was ever a NEED for a Special Counsel ... it was in early 2017 to START to investigate all the shenanigans within the DoJ/FBI ( and other Obama agencies). It needed to be a Special Counsel outside the DoJ/FBI since they were involved. Where was Sessions even back then? Not only did he FAIL to identify the real corruption, but he rolled over and permitted the Witch Hunt into Trump. If sessions was genuine in his belief that he had to recuse, then he should have gone the whole way and resigned. There is no way an AG should have stood by and allowed his POTUS to be subject to abuse. It's the old Prog/Dim trick of accusing the Republicans of what they are guilty of themselves! It was an obvious ploy. It continues. Nunes (and others) are doing a good job of exposing the the broad outline of corruption etc. It is taking a lot longer than it should because the corrupticons are still in place deliberately hiding (destroying) the evidence, but still Nunes will get there.. eventually. However.. some report from Congress outlining nests of corruption is not an end in itself. It will mark the START of proper criminal investigations (hopefully). Those investigations could and should have been underway already. Some should have perhaps resulted in indictments by now. They could have been underway even though Congress was doing a "probe" and a report! |

A second Special Counsel.... Sounds like "crazy talk" to me. The last thing we need is more months/years "investigating. Looking for evidence? For what? To find enough "probable cause" to indict people? We already have a boatload of evidence of crimes (millions of documents provided to probes and investigations, eveybody and his dog interviewed multiple times, memos, reports, recommendations)...... more than enough probable cause to indict. Investigations don't usually STOP with an indictment. In fact after an indictment there is usually a more focused process of interrogation and gathering evidence for the pending trial. |

There have been ongoing claims about "The Big Ugly" dating back to before Trump was elected. People were SURE that Comey and the FBI were continuing to Investigate Clinton Foundation and Uranium1 even after they exonerated Hillary for email stuff. And since then every new piece of info, pending testimony, memo, report has been said to herald "The Big Ugly". It's now been more than 2 YEARS!! Perhaps at least some of these things would be reasonably expected to be a trigger for comprehensive Criminal Investigations (the seeds of a Big Ugly), but it never happened!! Why? Jeff Sessions... that's why  The evidence is real, the Indictments are fake |
