It is a tragedy that this young man ("kid") died.. made worse by the visuals of him in captivity, and the bizarre ending with him released while in a coma.
Unfortunately NK has been kidnapping/abusing/killing foreigners for years. (and they do same to many more of their own citizens).... this is nothing new. Other nations too ARE NOT SAFE.
NOTHING short of war/regime change will alter that.
It is NUTS to travel to NK (and many other places) and anybody who does so has themselves to blame if that GAMBLE with their own lives goes pear-shaped.

Having said that... Shame on Obama for NOT doing all he could (in this and other cases).. and Kudos to Trump Administration for at least TRYING.
