I'm so wound up now, I'm going to have trouble getting to sleep. I hope you have a restful night!

I suspect Nelson has little else going on in her life.

I am as angry at Nelson as anyone but maybe we should tone down things Trayborg™ may willfully misunderstand and quote as real, not what they really are: venting justified frustration. Thanks In Advance. :)

Williams v. State, 110 So. 2d 654 (Fla. 1959)

Remember, Hornsby suggested reverse, meaning failure to allow something in.

That seemed to be stuck on relevancy, while the entire text admissability barrier is authenication. Evidently I'm missing what he gets from that case.

Reverse Williams is about the judge failing to let in exculpatory evidence, as opposed to failing to keep out evidence the defense objects to for one reason or another. Williams is also about bad character evidence and propensity to commit a crime evidence, etc.

Edit to add the word evidence to make point (hopefully) a bit clearer.

Yes, but I catch relevancy as the controlling factor there versus authenication as the barrier regarding the texts in Zimmerman case. That is the only thing I caught holding it up in Nelson's court.

Authentication thru circumstantial evidence...

Trayvon trait specific show up in the text messages about the fight when he is told he'll get expelled?

Claims fight was off school grounds, so could it match the fight he ref'd?

As little as Trayvon went to school, could the dates of attendance coincide with the date he texted about the fight?

Texts about parents near that time [Traymom kicked him out?]?

Phone calls near the time of the texts in question to verify who had the phone.

Could he have called TrayMom or Dad near the time he had texted about the fights?
[I think MOM has their phone records]

Ashley Banfield said lesser included offenses are not automatically added. The state will have to ask to add manslaughter and the judge makes the decision. The defense will argue against that. IMO

Nelson needs an extra hour to fix her hair and maybe put some make up on for a change.
