There was a 30 seconds to 1 minute statement in my feed, but I don't recall from whom... Maybe even Crump?

As to the Frye hearing, Nelson only said that the court will resume on Monday, but not with what. Since it'd be nearly impossible to prepare for jury selection if it comes right after the Frye hearing, the more experienced people, e.g. lawyers on twitter who comment on the trial, had assumed it'll be postponed till between end of jury selection and actual proceedings.

Anyway, if she didn't ALREADY find convincing Peter French, George Doddington and the FBI Jap, all of whom excellently established that the two prosecution experts are a shyster and a loon, then all she plans to do is pretend to 'hear everything from all sides' followed by admitting the "expert" testimony. I mean, come on. One "expert" was a professional salesman who learned how to input some audio in some "Easy" software and run it (and had trouble managing it when the software rejected the sample as too short) but had no idea how the software worked past the advertisement blurb, and the other was calling from a retirement home.

I found the following statement:

"We are relieved that the trial is starting today with the selection of jury members. We are seeking justice for our son and a fair trial. Trayvon's life was taken unnecessarily and tragically, but we call upon the community to be peaceful. We have placed our faith in the justice system and ask that the community do the same. Please pray for Trayvon and for our family."

I think it was read by Crump, I only listened to the audio feed on a low volume but could identify Crumpisms. (I think speaker recognition technology would work on him wonderfully.)
