As I said above.... These "advocates for victims" (of DV) are doing genuine victims a disservice. There is every indication that this so called DV incident is part of a scam by Scheibe and her mother... there is at least need for caution before accepting this as a REAL case of DV. At this point there are just claims of DV... and then a recant... so at the very least it is premature to regard Scheibe as a victim at all. Crying "Wolf"... or "Rape" or "Domestic violence"... only to have the accusations prove to be false does a disservice to genuine victims. And those who claim to be supporters, advocates, therapists etc... SHOULD know better than to rush to incite with public cries. |

I believe the advocates are concerned the victim went to the defense attorney and not the SA to drop charges. She should have been referred to the SA or her own attorney. Was she coerced? Who knows. I do think, as I have said before, she has been in contact with George through the defense attorney. It is a conflict of interest. |

I do hope George finally stays out of the public spotlight. It may well be that this trouble was imposed on him.... so I hope he realises he needs to avoid such associations. It does seem though that "Tugboat" has Golden..... bells?

Good advice Chip Not sure about Alaska? But out of Florida perhaps... away from big cities too..... a quiet little country town in USA somewhere? If they still exist.... I am starting to feel envious. |

Now that George won't be charged, I wonder if he will continue to see the woman. If he drops her now, she will be the one with the splodey head. She probably expects to have him come back since she did him a big favor.

Zimmerman will not be prosecuted for Domestic Violence Charges Wednesday, December 11, 2013 George Zimmerman will not face prosecution in the case brought against him by Seminole County prosecutors. I'm not sure what their "probable cause" was to arrest him in the first place. They charged him based on a 911 call made by a woman, Samantha Scheibe, who was trying to sell a story - and she should now be prosecuted. George's haters are saying this is common with domestic violence victims, to recant their story, but if the Prosecution had probable cause when they brought felony aggravated assault charges they should have had more than her word and zero signs of an assault. George will never live a normal life. Every argument he has with a girlfriend is going to be viewed as domestic violence and he will be raked over the coals and demonized. Aren't we all lucky we can argue with our spouses and significant others without ending up in jail or having our rights taken away from us. It's time to leave him the hell alone. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer and he has a broken picker, but that goes for 90% of the population - put away the stones, enough. Shout out to Jayne Weintraub, his new attorney - I wish he'd had her for the past two years. She told reporters today: "Prosecutors were "very reasonable" and "justice prevailed." In a high profile case, you can rest assured it will make the news. Also, do your roots before you fire up the crazy train.
