(Snipped for brevity)

“The death of Trayvon Martin was a devastating tragedy. It shook an entire community, drew the attention of millions across the nation, and sparked a painful but necessary dialogue throughout the country,” said Attorney General Eric Holder. “Though a comprehensive investigation found that the high standard for a federal hate crime prosecution cannot be met under the circumstances here, this young man’s premature death necessitates that we continue the dialogue and be unafraid of confronting the issues and tensions his passing brought to the surface. We, as a nation, must take concrete steps to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.”

The persecution of George Zimmerman and his entire family was a devastating tragedy .... unlike anything I've ever seen in the United States of America.

Holder vows to lower threshold for US civil rights charges

Attorney General Eric Holder says he will try to change the standard needed to bring federal civil rights cases in his last few weeks in the job.

In an interview with Politico, Mr Holder said "if we adjust those standards, we can make the federal government a better backstop".

His comments come after his department said it would not bring such charges in the Trayvon Martin case.

Arguments sway some in Trayvon Martin shooting
Defense says case coverage flawed
BY TAYLOR DUNGJEN
BLADE STAFF WRITER

Before noon Thursday, University of Toledo law students Maysaa Ouza and Lauren Smith were convinced that George Zimmerman should have been found guilty in the 2012 murder of Trayvon Martin. An hour later, the two were less sure.

“It’s interesting to hear all this,” Ms. Ouza said after defense attorney Donald West’s recount of the 2013 trial and how it was portrayed by the mass media. Instead of feeling certain of his guilt, Ms. Ouza and Ms. Smith were undecided.

Mr. West gave an hourlong presentation to a nearly full house at the university’s Richard and Jade McQuade Law Auditorium, showing photos of the trial, playing calls made to Sanford, Fla., police, and reviewing media coverage. The lecture was sponsored by the College of Law and the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.

'Zimmerman should get an apology'
Experts condemn Holder's manipulation while MSNBC host praises violence
Published: 4 hours ago

The legal nightmare for George Zimmerman, who was acquitted of charges in the shooting death of black teenager Trayvon Martin, may be over, but the racial divisions heightened by the case show no signs of fading.

In a recent speech, MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry delivered an expletive-laden rant in which she expressed hope that Martin “whooped the s— out of George Zimmerman.”

Nevertheless, the Zimmerman saga ended with a whimper Tuesday when the Justice Department concluded it had “insufficient evidence” to charge him with federal civil rights violations.

He already had been acquitted of criminal charges by a Florida jury.

But Tom Fitton, president of the Washington watchdog group Judicial Watch, told WND the real outrage was that Zimmerman was investigated by the federal government at all.

“The Obama administration is interested in heightening racial tension and division,” said Fitton. “Mr. Zimmerman was found not guilty. This is an embarrassment. The amount of resources spent investigating this one man, and the racial slander that was whipped up against him, was completely unjustifiable.

“George Zimmerman ought to get an apology from the president and the attorney general.”

However, if the reaction of progressive-leaning voices is any indication, it’s more likely Zimmerman will be attacked again.

Video released by the college newspaper Cornell Review shows MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry delivering the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Lecture at Cornell on Feb. 23.

In her speech, Harris-Perry swore repeatedly, boasted about her honorarium, hurled insults against the tea party and proclaimed her wish that Martin “whooped the s— out of George Zimmerman.”

Never Before Outlined Details Of False Racially Constructed Case Against George Zimmerman – While Zimmerman Gives First Interview Since DOJ Drops Civil Rights Charges….
Posted on March 24, 2015 by sundance

Many people have dropped links to media articles and stories around a recent interview posted by George’s attorney (divorce). The interview is fully recorded and also presented in transcript form HERE.

Image

Please go to the ownership link to see the content and construct of the interview. WHY? Because obviously this is how GZ is paying for his attorney. It would appear to me the attorney has agreed to exchange advertising (via website traffic) in lieu of financial compensation for legal services.

However, against the backdrop of Mr. Zimmerman feeling more comfortable to speak we can now also share some researched information previously undisclosed. This information has never been seen before.

June 3rd 2013 – Pre Zimmerman Trial Beginning – New Discovery Emerges…
Posted on June 27, 2015 by sundance

Those of you who were deep in the weeds during the Zimmerman research and discoveries might be interested in this little loose end.

During the “discovery phase”, and intense pre-trial preparation, Trayvon Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump refused explain or reconcile his public claims about witness #8 (he called “Dee Dee”). Crump refused to discuss his relationship with witness #8 or anything about her despite his public, yet secretive, introductions of her to the media in March of the previous year (2012).

Image
March 20th, 2012 Crump holds a press conference introducing “Dee Dee”. The ear witness who heard
Trayvon Martin getting shot by a White-Hispanic neighborhood watch vigilante. Crump even holds up
Dee Dee phone records to prove it. It was all BS.

By the end of May 2013 a frustrated defense team couldn’t get Crump to explain his claims of Witness #8 being 16-years old (she wasn’t – she was 18 per the prosecution); or being “a minor” (she wasn’t per the prosecution); or being “Trayvon’s Girlfriend” (she wasn’t); or about her being in “the hospital” (she never was – lie admitted one day prior to her deposition); or about Trayvon knowing her “since Kindergarten” (she didn’t – only met him 2 weeks prior); or about her “writing a statement” (she didn’t – and couldn’t write); or about the State Attorney taking an affidavit from someone claiming to be her without ever asking for ID (yes, they actually did that); or about neither Crump nor the State of Florida, knowing Witness #8’s last name (yes, they both claimed they never asked).

Despite these ridiculous “on the record” discrepancies, Judge Debra Nelson refused to make attorney Benjamin Crump answer questions about them.

[Additionally, in one of the most bizarre examples of judicial malpractice, because it was claimed in 2012 Witness #8 was a minor, Judge Nelson protected the witness identification all the way to the moment of witness 8’s deposition in 2013 (Crump was to bring her in) – thereby denying the defense team any time for research or background investigation. Additionally x2, as unbelievable as it sounds – the State (Angela Corey) denied allowing the defense to “record the deposition” – and Judge Nelson went along with the State’s position, on the day of the deposition itself. Yeah, it was THAT BAD.]

Image

[The world found out what we already knew, when Rachel Jeantel walked into the courtroom in July 2013 and the entire construct of her being “a devastating ear-witness” collapsed; because everything told to the media about “Dee-Dee”, aka. Rachel Jeantel, was a complete and utter fraud.]

That’s the backdrop for a seriously frustrated defense attorney, Mark O’Mara, filing a pre-trial motion to force Crump to sit for a deposition. Judge Nelson denied the motion – O’Mara quickly appealed to the 5th DCA for an urgent appellate decision.

The 5th DCA was well aware of the trial shenanigans, and had already overruled Judge Nelson once before in pre-trial motions. The 5th DCA immediately took the deposition appeal and ruled in favor of O’Mara (aka Zimmerman defense).

Zimmerman Case Aftermath Continues – Legal Fees To Defend Jacksonville State Attorney Angela Corey $150,000 So Far….
Posted on July 21, 2015 by sundance

  • How much does it cost taxpayers to prosecute the transparently innocent? Tens of millions.
  • How much does it cost after the predictable trial loss to defend against the unethical conduct within the case? You are about to find out….

Image

Two months ago State Attorney Angela Corey lost one of her strategic legal filings as she is forced to defend herself (and her office) from the consequences of her own unethical/unlawful behavior in the George Zimmerman prosecution.

Today, we discover how much this “single aspect”, amid many, continues to cost Florida taxpayers.

UPDATE:$149,224.00 spent by Angela Corey on legal fees so far in the case of Corey VS Kruidbos (Zimmerman Aftermath)

Judge tosses Zimmerman lawsuit against Roseanne Barr
By Elyssa Cherney Staff Writer
28th July, 2015

Lawyers for George Zimmerman's parents and Roseanne Barr sparred in court on Tuesday over whether tweets posted by the comedian caused emotional harm and infringed on the couple's privacy rights.
lRelated

There's no dispute over the facts: Barr, on March 29, 2012, retweeted the Lake Mary address of Gladys and Robert Zimmerman Sr. She then tweeted several other messages, including "If Zimmerman isn't arrested I'll rt (re-tweet) his address again -- maybe go 2 his house myself."

After hearing from both sides for about an hour on Tuesday, a judge tossed the case.

Seminole Circuit Judge Melanie Chase didn't elaborate on her ruling but said, "This court finds there is no disputed issue of material fact and that the defendant, Roseanne Barr, is entitled to judgment as a matter of law."

SMH. So, according to her ruling and explanation at the link, it would be okay to Tweet the Judge's address, and since she has been mentioned in the newspaper, she is now a public figure and her family members have now lost their right to privacy???? :46

George Zimmerman Teams Up With ‘Muslim-Free’ Gun Shop
By: (Breaking911 Newsroom)
August 18, 2015 | 3:56 PM

Florida Gun Supply owner Andy Hallinan declared his store a “Muslim-free zone” after the terror attack in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Now, Hallinan has teamed up with George Zimmerman, selling his artwork at his gun shop.

Florida Gun Supply even released a short documentary which includes an interview with Zimmerman.

(Original) Mini-Documentary: Cultural Cleansing & Bias Media = TIME FOR CHANGE!

According to their website: “George Zimmerman is teaming up with Florida Gun Supply to offer signed and numbered prints of his Confederate Flag painting. This painting was painted in honor of Andy Hallinan for being a true patriot and leading the country into a better, safer America. Zimmerman’s last painting sold on Ebay for over $100,000.”

Image
Florida Gun Supply

From Florida Gun Supply: ALL ART HAS A STORY TO TELL. WHAT’S GEORGE’S STORY?

George started painting an American Flag on this canvas, but heard about Andy getting sued by CAIR (the Counsel for American/Islamic Relations) while he was working on the painting. George decided to scrap the original American Flag painting and repaint it with a Confederate (Battle) Flag.

“The caption, ‘the 2nd protects the first’ is a double entendre,” said George. “The first flag I painted on this canvas was an American Flag, but decided to repaint over it with the Confederate Flag when I heard Andy was getting sued by CAIR. The 2nd flag I painted was the Battle Flag – which we need in America in order to protect the first.”

Quite literally, the caption “the 2nd protects the first” is referring to both the Bill of Rights as well as the two flags on this canvas. You cannot have the 1st amendment without the 2nd, and you cannot have the American Flag if you remove the Battle Flag.

What a story!

On the back of the original canvas, you can still see an outline of the American Flag.

I say good for him. I gotta wish him all the best and success. :51

The Traybots on twitter gave him some good advertising today by keeping his name trending.

I haven't read the story yet, should have first, but want to see if they will sell them online. ;)

eta: Great video presentation.
And I bought a print, BAM! :D

Miami security guard blames George Zimmerman for arrest in killing of unarmed man
David Ovalle Miami Herald
September 1, 2015

Image

Lukace Kendle, the security guard who fatally shot an unarmed black man and wounded another outside a North Miami-Dade strip club, took to the lecturn to act as his own lawyer.

“The reason the evidence was fabricated is because I’m white,” the pony-tailed, pointy-goateed Kendle said to jurors during the start of his murder trial on Tuesday.

Seconds later, Kendle went where the judge had warned him not to go.

“The subjects I shot were African American. I can prove that,” Kendle said. “What they’re not allowing me to tell you is that I was arrested because of the George Zimmerman shooting.”

Prosecutors howled in objection. Relatives of the slain man, 29-year-old Kijuan Byrd, shook their heads. Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Dava Tunis chastised Kendle.

“We discussed this at length,” Tunis said. “This is the only warning I’m giving. I ruled according to the law.”
