JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A judge has denied a motion filed by the attorney for the man who admits to shooting a local teen at a gas station.

The motion was filed last week to delay the trial until April.

Baring any other motions, Michael Dunn is set to go on trial Feb. 3 on charges of first-degree murder in the death of 17-year-old Jordan Davis.

Thank you! I forgot about this. Although Dunn may well be guilty, it bothers me that AC wants some "secret" evidence. Because of who she is that bothers me, alot.

I did NOT follow all the details today... but it seems to me that Corey is trying same tricks from the play-book that she got away with in GZ case. She clearly wants her witnesses to remain secret...she is just using "redacted from public view" as a ruse to keep them hidden from Defence as well. Playing games with hiding discovery as she did via Puppet de La Rionda.

And she comes across in Court as trash, unprepared and with little regard for the fine detail of Law.

I do fear that this will be seen as "pay-back" for Zimmerman... and if Dunn found guilty all the Traybot will take that as PROOF that GZ was guilty too...

Seeing Dunn today, my advice to him and his team is that an URGENT make-over is neded before he is seen by potential Jury members!!!
He needs to look smaller, and more humble.

I think we've all seen how public disclosure of possible or potential evidence before trial doesn't necessarily lead to the public understanding rather than mis-understanding what actually happened, but we've also seen how Angela's team likes to keep the defense in the dark as much as possible as well, which is an entirely different kettle of fish.

Yeah... I can live with the public (me) being "kept in the dark".. to some extent, but the deliberate "hide the ball" tactic played with Discovery seems unethical to me.
