Juror #27, male, said he has knowledge of #michaeldunn case and has formed opinion, but could render fair verdict.

Juror #44, male, excused from #michaeldunn trial due to medical hardship

Juror #71, male, has non-refundable ticket to Brazil during #michaeldunn trial. Excused.

Juror #78 challenged by @strollalaw for cause, potential #michaeldunn jurors son carpools with son of homicide detective.

Per Judge Healey 36 of 100 excused, 46 coming back at 1pm Tuesday, 18 left for questioning in #michaeldunn jury selection.

#michaeldunn jury selection to reconvene Tuesday at 8:15am

Judge Healey is asking that tags numbered 101-130 be created for potential #michaeldunn jurors coming in Tues at 8:30am

Judge Healey concerned about protestors outside and how jury comes and goes during sequestration during #michaeldunn trial.

21 jurors questioned today at in the murder trial of Michael Dunn. 12 have been excessed. 9 coming back tomorrow. Court is done for day.

Update on jury selection in Michael Dunn murder trial

The search for 16 people who know little to nothing about the trial of Michael Dunn is underway.

The Judge, state and defense agreed Monday that they wanted a pool of 60 "good" candidates (not professional terms) before they start actually choosing jurors. At the end of Day 1, 46 of those candidates had been identified. The 30 new jurors who fill out the questionnaire Tuesday morning will either be excused, deemed "good", or further questioned around 10AM when some of the potential candidates who weren’t questioned today because of time constraints are brought back. The hope is by 1 PM they will have the 60 candidates and start choosing the jury.

Judge Russell Healey has also decided to sequester jurors for the duration of the trial. He told the pool of potential jurors that he expects the trial- including jury selection- to last about two weeks.

Sequestration will begin when the actual jury is seated. He expects each day of trial to last from about 9 AM to 5 PM, and jurors will be provided lodging, travel, food, etc. for their time being sequestered.

Judge just swore in a grp of jurors, but there are some mic issues that are getting fixed... so cant hear much just yet

Alright volume is up... judge giving similar briefing as initial briefing yesterday- filling out questionnaire, basics of #DunnTrial, etc

Judge Healey: realistically, we will probably finish jury selection tomorrow and the trial could start late tomorrow

Some questions on #michaelDunn questionnaire - age, occupation, formed opinion of innocence or guilt?, would you be able to put aside?

would sequestration create hardship for you? #7 relates to social media, similar with #8, #9 anything else to get in the way?
