Casebolt resigned from the McKinney PD. Chief held a news conference and said Casebolt's actions were indefensible. His chief obviously caved to public pressure. Chalk one up for the anti-police crowd.

As we have outlined the McKinney Texas June 5th pool party mob at the Craig Ranch sub-division was organized by 20-year-old Tatyana Rhodes, and her mother LaShana Burks.

Tatyana Rhodes and her mother are facing a very real possibility of civil lawsuits by the Home Owners Association within Craig Ranch for an unapproved and unauthorized event that turned into a mob, and has cost the community THOUSANDS.

Watch this CNN interview with Tatyana who is now lawyered up. Her attorney is Emmanuel Obi, and she appeared with Jahda Bakari (13) one of Tatyana’s “Dime Girls”.

Notice how Tatyana now tries desperately to avoid admitting that her promotional activity is what led to hundreds of party-goers. It is abundantly clear she and her mother are aware of the lawsuit risks now facing them. Notice also how she references herself as a “teen” when her actual DOB is 04/02/1995.

I see she and mom cleaned up really well for TV.
Their selfies on either twitter or FB are/were appalling.

I'm with Carm and others that the Chief obviously received a sort of "stand down" order not to continue a thorough investigation. Not good for his department, his officers, nor for Texas.

Attorney Jane Bishkin said Eric Casebolt, who resigned from the department on Tuesday, had worked one suicide and one attempted suicide in the hour before being dispatched to the out-of-control party which reportedly involved teens fighting.

I saw that Lurk, what a day the cop had..I can see why he might not be in his right mind..
gotta feel for him, still he had no idea the situation he was walking into at that party...he knew there had been a fight...
he had no idea if ppl had weapons .... I still wish he wouldn't have resigned ....maybe he just had enough

Soon we will see lawlessness across the US because decent men and woman will not want to endanger themselves and their families by performing police officer duties. Not when they are thrown under the bus every time for their actions. Look to see officers starting to resign and to take early retirements or retire.

Just last Friday a young friend asked me about becoming an officer I told him I couldn't in good conscience recommend that he do so. It is the first time I feel this way in my life.

I thought that was a good panel discussion. I was tempted to type "great"... and the reason I didnt was it was just as a proper rational calm discussion should be.

So often a TV panel "discussion" involves a network hack with an agenda and "panelists" who would not know a reasoned discussion if it bit them on the bum... Sunny Hostin springs to mind. :roll

I liked it too, Rumpole. :)

Liked that the guy on video was actually there at the protest and gave a voice to both sides. He added pertinent information throughout the discussion.

Pleased that they brought up the "outside agitators" and mentioning they try to get there first to make the situation look worse than it is.

Promoting Million Man March in October.

And I would bet my last dollar that the guy in the back (khaki color suit) towards the end IS packing heat. Don't care what they say. Just sayin' :D
