Hi, Carmelita!

The Trump Rally in STL got a lot of attention today. There was a long line to get in described as "a line of people wrapped around downtown St. Louis." I believe this was the most disruptive speech he's given so far. Lots of arrests before, during and after (35 reported). People on twitter complaining they were all Black. Also complaining about some of the non-PC remarks Trump said to them inside.

Trump speaks in Chicago at 6:00PM CT. I don't think the fine men and women of the Chicago PD will put up with what STL did.

When it was cancelled the protesters "staged" inside went crazy, if not for this, no problems.

Outside looks really bad, but THIS is Chicago.

I've been reading about this all day b/c one of my SIL is there and was so excited to see Trump in person. Also, the first one in line to get in got there at 3AM this morning.

A shame, and I think there is more to this than we know, re "security reasons".

Chicago thugs acting like Chicago thugs. I had tickets but decided not to go because I knew that exactly this was going to happen. Chicago is a universe all unto itself.

Trump Rally in Dayton Ohio... an incident towards the end with Secret Service guys jumping up onto the stage to surround and protect Trump. Trump carried on after that. Not sure of details yet.

Been a busy week in Ohio for candidates. Our County is a Republican stronghold but the school levy on the ballot is doing more than the candidates to spur locals to vote absentee (early voting process here) or schedule time on Tuesday.
