The parents of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects have left their home in Dagestan for another part of Russia and the suspect's father is no longer planning to fly to the U.S. later this week to bury his eldest son and cooperate with the FBI investigation into the attacks.

The suspects' mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaev, told CNN that that her husband, Anzor Tsarnaev, is indefinitely delaying his trip to the U.S. because of health reasons. She claimed she had to call an ambulance for him on Thursday but did not elaborate on what happened.

Zubeidat told Fox News that on Friday he is was planning to go to a Moscow hospital to treat 'nerves, head, stomach and elevated blood pressure.'

She was never planning to accompany her husband to the U.S. because she faces felony shoplifting charges here.

News of the parents' apparent flight from Dagestan comes one day after a bizarre press conference in which they claimed that the gruesome carnage of the Boston attacks, which kill three people and injured more than 200, was staged by the government.

'America took my kids away from me,' she cried. 'I’m sure my kids were not involved in anything.'

The mother of the suspected bombers, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, went so far as to claim that the blood covering the streets after the blasts was in fact paint.

Revealed: Mother of Boston 'bombers' was put on CIA terrorist watchlist 18 months before attacks and is now a 'person of interest'

  • Zubeidat Tsarnaev and her son Tamerlan were added to the CIA terrorism watchlist 18 months before the Boston bombings
  • Lawmakers say the mother is a 'person of interest' in the investigation
  • She is suspected of encouraging her sons to pursue radical Islamic ideas
  • Officials have traveled to Dagestan, Russia to interview her associates
  • The 45-year-old said the claims were 'all lies and hypocrisy'
  • FBI had investigated both Zubeidat and Tamerlan in 2011
  • Ex-Russian official told Congress that Cold War distrust may have made U.S. officials less inclined to act on Russia's tip

The mother of the Boston Marathon bombing suspects was put on the CIA terrorist watchlist 18 months before the tragedy, officials said on Friday as lawmakers revealed Zubeidat Tsarnaev is now considered a 'person of interest' in the federal investigation into the attack.

Two U.S. lawmakers said that investigators have traveled to Dagestan, Russia, to learn more from close associates who knew the suspects' mother.

The outspoken mother shot back, saying that claims that she had ties to terrorist activity were 'lies and hypocrisy.'

In a series of bizarre media interviews, Zubeidat Tsarnaev has staunchly defended her sons Tamerlan and Dzhokhar, who are accused of the terrorist attack on April 15 that left 3 dead and more than 260 injured.

Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, 45, has sparked outrage for her incendiary comments to the media and now officials say they are probing her possible involvement in the tragedy.

'[She (Zubeidat) is a person of interest that we're looking at to see if she helped radicalize her son, or had contacts with other people or other terrorist groups,' Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, a Democrat from Maryland, who serves on the House Intelligence Committee, said on Friday.

Rep. Michael McCaul, the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said investigators are looking into whether the mother encouraged her son, Tamerlan, to embrace Islam extremism.

'The mother in my judgment has a role in his radicalization process in terms of her influence over him (and) fundamental views of Islam,' the Texas Republican told reporters.

He added that a team of U.S. investigators had traveled to the Chechen region to interview sources who knew the family.

Unnamed officials have also reveled that the CIA asked for the Boston terror suspect and his mother to be added to a terrorist database in the fall of 2011, after the Russian government contacted the agency with concerns that both had become religious militants, according to officials briefed on the investigation.

"Totally nuts" for sure.

But a lot of these European Tribal types are... they are still fighting historic grievances.. and always will.
And the Ismlaist thing is often part of that.... it's found a new oulet in it's association with the Middle Eastern Islamist insanity.

Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev moved from hospital to prison

Man suspected of being behind Boston Marathon bombings transferred to a prison at Fort Devens, Massachusetts

Associated Press
guardian.co.uk, Friday 26 April 2013 13.36 BST

The surviving Boston Marathon bombings suspect has been transferred to a federal medical detention facility, officials said on Friday.

The US Marshals Service said Dzhokhar Tsarnaev left Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center overnight and was taken to the Federal Medical Center Devens about 40 miles west of Boston.

The facility, on the decommissioned Fort Devens US army base, treats federal prisoners and detainees who require specialized long-term medical or mental health care. The 19-year-old Tsarnaev is recovering from a gunshot wound to the throat and other injuries suffered during his attempted getaway.

The transfer comes a day after it was revealed that Tsarnaev and his brother had planned to go to Times Square in New York to blow up the rest of their explosives, authorities said. They portrayed a spur-of-the-moment scheme that fell apart when the brothers realized the car they had hijacked was low on gas.

How carjacking victim of Boston bombers left his iPhone in his Mercedes so police could track them and thwart their plans to drive to New York

  • FBI officials released surveillance video of suspected bombers on April 18
  • Hours later Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev hijacked a Mercedes
  • 'Danny,' the car's owner says the men discussed traveling to NYC
  • Officials have confirmed the Tsarnaevs were carrying a pressure cooker device and 5 pipe-bombs to detonate in Times Square
  • Driver managed to escape when the brothers refilled on gas
  • Danny says he left his iPhone in the Mercedes so police could track the car
  • Police intercepted the brothers and a gun battle broke out early on April 19 in Watertown, Mass.
  • Tamerlan, 26, was killed and Dzhokhar, 19, was captured nearly a day later

The driver whose car was hijacked by the Boston bombing suspects has revealed how authorities used the iPhone he left in the stolen car to track the fleeing brothers, thwarting their plans to attack New York City.

Known only as 'Danny,' the 26-year-old Chinese entrepreneur whose car was stolen, says he had pulled his car over to the side of the road to text when Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev approached his Mercedes at 11pm on April 18.

After an hour and a half in their company, Danny said this week that he managed to escape but purposely left his smartphone in the car and alerted police of the phone's tracking technology.

Danny previously said in interviews how the brothers shared with him their plans to go to New York.

He said he heard the brothers openly discussing driving to New York, although he couldn't make out if they were planning another attack or just looking to escape, the Telegraph reported.

'Lol these people are cooked:'Boston bomber's chilling tweet sent just hours after the deadly attack

By Daily Mail Reporter
PUBLISHED: 14:57 GMT, 27 April 2013 | UPDATED: 18:26 GMT, 27 April 2013

The surviving suspect accused of the Boston Marathon bombings tweeted in the aftermath of the terrorist attack, joking about the fate of victims of the explosions.

Dzhokhar 'Jahar' Tsarnaev, 19, took to the social media website and engaged in banter with a friend making light of the deadly explosions that killed three and injured more than 260.

In one of his many tweets, the college sophomore wrote, 'Lol those people are cooked' likely in reference to a since deleted conversation about the events unfolding in Boston.

Dzhokhar and his brother Tamerlan, who is now deceased, have been accused of planting two bombs in the crowd of the race in Boston on April 15, that exploded at 2:49pm.

Less than three hours the attack, Dzhokhar took to Twitter to post a message on 5:05pm that Monday that echoed the sentiment felt most Bostonians, 'Ain't no love in the heart of the city, stay safe people.'

But just a few hours later he began an exchange with a friend, with the Twitter handle @MelloChamp, in which the 19-year-old presumably began referencing the bombings with a callous tone.

It has been difficult to ascertain the nature of the conversation as @MelloChamp has since deleted his profile on the micro blogging website, as have many of the other users linked to the suspect's account.

'What's new with them?' Dzhokhar posted at 8:11pm.

The friend is believed to have responded to his message and the suspect wrote back a few minutes later.

'And they what "god hates dead people?" Or victims of tragedies? Lol those people are cooked,' at 8:13pm.

Then more than an hour later at 9:34pm he wrote, 'There are people that know the truth but stay silent & there are people that speak the truth but we don't hear them cuz they're the minority.'

His Twitter activity also included following the messages posted by others.

On that Monday, he favorited a tweet, 'The sad part about the events in Boston today, is that some bs Hollywood director is gonna try n make a movie n profit from tragic evens smh,' that was posted by a Cambridge area resident, identified on Twitter as 2Explicit (@ballholic34).

When that user was asked about why his message would have caught the attention of Dzhokhar, he responded on April 19, 'I have no insight it was just a tweet.'

Dzhokhar's Twitter activity became sporadic on Tuesday, as friends say they saw him around campus and even working out at the gym.

The last tweet he wrote was on Tuesday at 10:43pm, 'I'm a stress free kind of guy.'

After Dzhokhar and his brother allegedly carried out the attacks, the two seemed to slip back into their normal routine

Dzhokhar talked to multiple college friends about the Boston Marathon attack just a day after he allegedly planted the explosives.

'Yeah, man tragedies can happen anywhere in the world. It's too bad,' he told one friend at the gym on the campus of the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, according to a CNN report last week.

The student, who was not named, told the cable network that 19-year-old Dzhokhar seemed 'tired' but otherwise 'fine.'

Another student reported similar behavior from the suspect.

Fellow Dartmouth student Andrew Glasby said that Dzhokhar lived one floor above him at the campus’s Pine Dale dormitory.

Owners of 'Terrorista #1' BMW license plate revealed as the SAME friends pictured with the Boston bomber in Times Square

  • Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev are from Kazakhstan
  • They were classmates of bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev
  • Dzhokhar may have slept at their house on the night of the bombing
  • They've been in custody since last Saturday and a lawyer says they are 'shocked' by the allegations against their friend

Friends of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev arrested last week who cruised around in a car with the ‘Terrorista #1’ license plate have also been revealed to be two of the group of friends recently photographed with the Boston Marathon bomber in Times Square.

The two 19-year-old men from Kazakhstan are Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev. They were classmates of bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Authorities say they were detained for immigration violations on April 20 after being questioned in connection with the attack, which occurred a few days earlier.

A lawyer for one of two jailed college friends of a Boston Marathon bombing suspect say they had nothing to do with the deadly attack and had seen no hints he harbored any violent or terrorist sympathies.

Kadyrbayev's lawyer, Robert Stahl, says the students are shocked by the allegations against Tsarnaev and just want to go home.

'These kids are just as shocked and horrified about what happened as everyone else,' Stahl said.

He said they are being held for violating their student visas by not regularly attending classes and want to return to Kazakhstan as soon as possible.

Terror suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev would hang out at the their New Bedford, Mass. apartment frequently and may have stayed with them on the night of the bombing and the following night.

The two students drive a black BMW 330XI with the personalized plate and a sticker on the back which reads: ‘F*** you, you f****** f****’.

Los terroristas means ‘the terrorists’ in Spanish but it's also a slang reference to 'buddies and friends.'

The pair were led out of their apartment last Friday in handcuffs before police carried out an extensive search of their home.

Federal agents first took Tazhayakov and Kadyrbayev into custody April 19 and released them hours later. But they were arrested the following day on administrative immigration charges because their academic visas to attend college had expired.

They are now being held at Suffolk County House of Corrections in Boston. They have not been charged with a crime.

Terror suspect is 'locked in small video-recorded cell 40 miles outside Boston' with no TV but he is allowed to access to books

  • Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was released from hospital despite still suffering serious injuries
  • Transferred to federal medical detention center in central Massachusetts
  • He is being held in a 'small cell' which is recorded via video cameras
  • Inmates have no access to radio or TV but are allowed books

By Daily Mail Reporter

The Boston Marathon bombing suspect is being held in a small cell with a steel door at a federal medical detention center about 40 miles outside the city, a federal official said Saturday.

Federal Medical Center Devens spokesman John Collauti described the conditions under which 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was being held in the Ayer facility after being moved there from a hospital Friday.

Tsarnaev was injured during a police chase in which his brother, also a suspect in the bombing, was fatally wounded.

Collauti said in a telephone interview that Tsarnaev is in secure housing where authorities can monitor him. His cell has a solid steel door with an observation window and a slot for passing food and medication.

Collauti wouldn't discuss specific details related to Tsarnaev, but said that typically medical workers making rounds each shift monitor the inmates. He said guards also keep an eye on some cells with video cameras.

Also, inmates in the more restrictive section do not have access to TVs or radios, but can read books and other materials, he said.

'Really this type of facility is fully capable of handling him and it's not that much of an inconvenience because it's more or less business as usual,' Collauti said.

Tsarnaev left Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where he was controversially treated just yards from the wards containing many of his victims.

His new home is part of the minimum security facility on the decommissioned Fort Devens U.S. Army base.

It treats federal prisoners and detainees who require specialized long-term medical or mental health care.

It has been referred to in the past as 'agreeable' and 'fairly pleasant'.

Boston bombers' father now says he won't come to U.S. - because 'his blood pressure has spiked'

The father of the two Boston Marathon bombing suspects says he is postponing a trip to the United States to visit his hospitalized son and collect the other's body due to his spiking blood pressure.

Anzor Tsarnaev told The Associated Press on Sunday that he is 'really sick' and his blood pressure had spiked.

Tsarnaev said last week that he planned to travel from Russia to the U.S. with the hope of seeing his younger son, who is under arrest, and burying his elder son, who was killed in a clash with police.

The news comes days after it was revealed that the suspects' mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, was placed on a CIA watchlist 18 months before the marathon attack.

Tsarnaev confirmed that he is staying in Chechnya, a province in southern Russia, but did not specify whether he had been hospitalized.

Until Friday, he and the suspects' mother had been living in the neighboring province of Dagestan.

The suspects' mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva claimed she had to call an ambulance for him on Thursday but did not elaborate on what happened.

It was revealed last week that both parents have left their home in Dagestan for another part of Russia.

She was never planning to accompany her husband to the U.S. because she faces felony shoplifting charges here.

On April 25, the parents held a bizarre press conference in which they claimed that the gruesome carnage of the Boston attacks, which killed three people and injured more than 250, were staged by the U.S. government.

WTF ? He needs to be on the inside of a lethal perimeter fence, not in a country club.

Yes... I know... as it turns out.

Of course they are now welcome back in the fundamentalist nest, but I assume the "threat" they feared when they sought asylum was the Russian authorities? Obviously not a real threat if Russia let them back and apparently let them be.

I guess what I am saying is that US authorities should be FAR more selective when people CLAIM asylum.

'Misha' speaks out: Friend accused of radicalizing Boston bomber is revealed as 39-year-old Islam convert with an U.S. girlfriend as he DENIES teaching Tamerlan Tsarnaev

  • Identity of mysterious 'Misha' revealed to be Rhode Island resident Mikhail Allakhverdov
  • He is an Islamic convert who knew Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2009 when he lived in Boston
  • He has been accused of having steered the 26-year-old elder Boston bomber to a radical strain of Islam
  • He flatly denies this claim - and says the FBI do not consider him a suspect either
  • 'Somehow, he just took his brain,' said Tamerlan's uncle, Ruslan Tsarni, who recalled conversations with Tamerlan's worried father about Misha's influence
  • Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, mother of the bomber's said it was 'nonsense' that Misha converted her son to terrorism

By James Nye and David Mccormack

The mysterious Misha, thought to be the missing link in explaining the radicalization of Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev has broken his silence to speak out from his home in Rhode Island on Sunday.

Accused by members of the Tsarnaev family of being the mastermind behind the marathon attacks which killed three and injured over 250 people, Misha, whose real name is Mikhail Allakhverdov has come forward in hope of setting the record straight.

Frenzied speculation surrounded his role in April 15th's attacks, with some asking whether 'Misha' was part of a wider terror cell or incredibly, if he was a Russian mole - sent to spy on Tamerlan.

Indeed, his very absence from the investigation fueled the conspiracy theories - but now he has come forward to declare himself innocent and that crucially the FBI do not believe he had any part in the bombings.

Christian Caryl from the New York Review of Books tracked down Mikhail Allakhverdov to his family home in Rhode Island - to a lower middle class neighborhood.

The meeting between Caryl and Allakhverdov confirms right away that he does have the widely reported distinguishing reddish beard mentioned by members of the Tsarnaev family.

Living with his parents in a tidy apartment, Allakhverdov flat out denied any part in Tamerlan, 26 and 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's murderous attacks.

Confirming he is indeed a convert to Islam, he said he did know Tamerlan in 2009 as he spoke to Caryl in Russian.

'I wasn’t his teacher. If I had been his teacher, I would have made sure he never did anything like this,' Allakhverdov said to the New York Review of Books.

Aged 39, Allakhverdov is of Armenian-Ukranian descent and lives with an American girlfriend with his elderly parents.

His father is an Armenian Christian and his mother is an ethnic Ukrainian.

Speaking to the New York Review of Books, Allakhverdov's father said, 'We love this country. We never expected anything like this to happen to us.'

Allakhverdov confirmed to the New York Review of Books that he knew Tamerlan in 2009 when he lived in Boston but none in the years since.

He declined to elaborate on his relationship with Tamerlan and how he became friends - but would not say why he ceased speaking to the Boston bomber,

However, he denied that he had ever met any of Tamerlans family - which contradicts their claims that he would be seen discussing Islam with the elder Tsarnaev brother late at night at the family's kitchen table.

He also confirmed he had been interviewed by the FBI and that he has cooperated with the investigation:

I will post more as I get time. Lately I have been working long days and just get too tired to do much of anything. :)

Remote some think the 19 year old was brainwashed:

Acquaintances: Boston bombing suspect may have brainwashed younger brother

The first image the nation saw of the two brothers may serve as more than a pivotal clue to investigators in the Boston Marathon bombings. It is, perhaps, a snapshot of their relationship: One leads, the other follows.

That’s how some friends remember the Tsarnaev brothers: At 26, Tamerlan was seven years older than his brother Dzhokhar, who followed his big brother around like a puppy.

And with their father in Russia, the older brother may have become a father figure to the 19-year-old these past few months. At 6-feet-3, Tamerlan was, by many accounts, an intimidating presence with increasingly strong convictions about society and religion in recent years.

But the picture that is emerging of the now infamous brothers is also fuzzy — just like the surveillance video.

An investigator who studied their video images after the bombings said the two brothers “acted differently than everyone else” — they stuck around and watched the carnage unfold, and walked away “pretty casually.”

FBI agents have today visited the Rhode Island home of Tamerlan Tsarnaev's wife Katherine Russell reportedly to take a sample of her DNA after traces of a woman were found on one of the bombs used in the Boston Marathon attacks.

Spokesman Jason Pack confirmed that agents investigating the Boston bombings visited the North Kingstown home of Russell's parents, where Tsarnaev's widow has been staying since the attacks.

According to The Wall Street Journal, agents went to the house today to collect a DNA sample from Russell in a bid to rule out her involvement in the bombings.

An official close to the case told the newspaper that female DNA has been found on at least one of the bombs used in the Boston Marathon attacks. Though investigators haven't determined whose DNA it is or whether the DNA means a woman helped the two suspects carry out the bombings.

Pack said the FBI visited the house as part of its investigation into the April 15 blasts, which killed three people and injured hundreds more.

'The FBI is there as part of our ongoing investigation, but we aren't permitted to discuss specific aspects of our case,' the agency said in a statement.

After agents left the home, Russell left with her attorneys through a separate door. She was later photographed smiling as she left a Providence law center with her attorney.

Her attorneys have previously said she and her family were in shock when they learned of the allegations against her husband and brother-in-law, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
